how do you add specific troops via cheat engine?
Jeremiah Campbell
>get some recruits or whatever troop you want >say I have 16 swadian knights >scan for 16 >disband one >scan for 15 >repeat until I have the correct address >set to desired number
Note that the address is tied to the slot in your party, not the to unit type, and if you want a bunch of high-tier troops immediately you'll have to upgrade them legitimately or with the ctrl+x cheat first before using CE.

I really like Exanima's health system and would like to see something like that in the game that shall never be released.
I always found it stupid that a cutting weapon can still damage someone in full plate armor, in Exanima this doesn't happen.
When the night fell on Calradia Cries of warlike tribes were heard The fight is taken to Battania The fallen sleep, they voice no words
Men of North and South and West March with spirits high Though Empire split, by gods blessed Their ascension nigh!
From the shores of Angoron to the steppe of Phycaeon From Southern Sea to Northern wood Through frost-covr'd plain and dark lands foreign The mighty legions stood
Bloody ground we held alone Barbarous Men we defied Battania we'll dethrone! On our blades they died
Luis Rogers
can do the same thing in warband by changing RCM values though PS will always pose a problem as well as str/prof to a lesser extent
Daniel Mitchell
You sure Warband's engine would support that?
Exanima has two health pools merged into one.
The first is the yellow bar that regenerates after a brief pause and represents fatigue, the red bar represents wounds and limits how much regenerating hp you have.
It's quite brilliant, actually. Would make longer battles possible once you acquire good gear because most troops wouldn't be able to wound you but would still pose a threat if you are overwhelmed or can't find a safe spot to regen your stamina.
Levi Howard
i meant more with the cutting weapons affecting heavy armor there's stamina in VC anyway and i'd say it's the best stamina system out there, since it's like the total war one which is the most realistic
Brayden Stewart
>every companion in Pendor mocks and derides you for making a retreat from an unfair fight >every >single >companion Come on now.
Juan Wilson
Stamina in Exanima isn't used by attacking or running around, it's a healthbar that gets reduced if you get hit with weapons that don't hit hard enough to get through your armor. You wear full plate, you don't get hurt by small weapons that have no armor piercing capabilities, but you do lose some stamina.
You only get wounded when the weapon is capable of piercing or ignoring your armor or when an enemy hits the gaps and weakpoints in your armor. Which means you always get wounded if you are running around naked and very rarely if you wear full plate, but you can still lose because if your stamina gets reduced to 0 you are knocked out.

If you think speeds are too low why don't you edit them? That's like giving yourself 50 ironflesh because you think weapon damage is too high.

caribbean doesn't run very well i've got a 980 and i get below 60fps in ship battles if there's 10 or more ships make sure you don't have anything dumb on in the launcher like edit mode or pixel shaders, and turn load textures on demand on

sup my man how do i command troops? i press f1 and it does nothing
Jeremiah Brooks
gotta use the battlemap thing place troops on the map where you want them, you can give simple orders with the function keys and the 1-5 keys annoying thing is it's all hard-coded so you can't rebind anything
James Bennett

cha/int blunt weapons only
Justin Sanders
>blunt weapons I don't want to rape prisoners or get high

The blunt weapon is for knocking out low tier troops and then releasing them after battle like a good person would
Thomas Howard
cha/int is best in dickplomacy, you need the grills for the brothels

Isaac Ramirez
Would making different unit types take up different amounts of troop limit be a sensible idea?
Especially in terms of balancing something like the strategy of cavalry spam. So, just as an example, knights might take up 1.75 limit while normal infantry only take up 1 or something like that.
The reasoning being basically that once you have money, which isn't hard to get, there is limited incentive not to just spam knights and roll over everything. If you took 170 huscarls/sharpshooters and matched them against the same number of knights they'd just get rolled over except with a great terrain advantage.
Another option would be fundamentally changing the economics and recruitment system to make massing one particular elite troop, particularly heavy cavalry, more difficult.
>Build Manor >Gets finished after what feels like a decade >Village scene doesn't change >You can't see your manor REEEEEEEE E E E E E
Christopher Morris
the manor is near the village user. It can't be seen on the map unless you have vision though which sucks to be honest.
Lincoln Wright
>one shot people with your words
Liam White
This guy is correct. Charisma and Agility are good with just some points. 12 or 9 agi is enough. Having high INT can mean having a working Engineering skill of 14 meaning you don't have to waste any hours in ladder castles and 6 hours on siege tower castles (10 on the character page, you get 4+ for being the leader) or 14 points of Surgery, meaning you can take heavy casualties and the majority of your units won't die. High STR is always good.
Ethan Rogers
desu what l really like is getting around 6-7 point into the most important int skills (18-21 int) and then getting at least 18 points into strength, then continuing the strength route, l usually start with the 5 leadership bonus route (by making the right choices in the character creation menu you can get up to 5 leadership) so l never put any points into cha unless it's lower than 6 (for the prisoner management)
Cameron Rivera
Yeah that is good too. I use that too. I swear i will one day play as a fucking merchant with 5+ trade.
Hudson Williams
Play with fire and sword then, there are no entreprises and the only way to make money is to pillage villages, sell shit and send caravans :^(

you are all shitters, min maxing is boring you should roleplay
