American cars are a shit and will always be a shit. Big engines in garbage quality cars.

Dumb bus cucks.
Even worse when you compare the 07 model
>z06 Corvette 2007
>$69k MSRP
>cost $30k used on average
>2016 BMW 7-Series

I have $167k in the bank im thinking if buying a zo6 straight cash I don't want to deal with any payments . Is it a good or bad idea to purchase an expensive car in. Cash?
>New Camaro does a good lap around the nurburgring
>This guy goes full damage control making a ton of threads about how terrible american cars are
'tism
Those rims are hideous
found gm's marketing team
Friend just bought a '07 z06 with a little over 100k miles for $15k
Bmw 7 series used prices are way off, cowboy. Curious as to why you so much faggot?
Ford a shit
One is a sports car, the other is a full sized luxury sedan?
Just put in a good down payment and ask for zero or low apr
I mean, it's never a good idea to buy a heavily depreciating asset. The only thing worse than buying a heavily depreciating asset in the first place is to buy it and be stuck underwater on the financing.
If the z06 is your dream car, get it I guess. I'd be nervous that they haven't worked out all the kinks, though. I've heard the tester models have had multiple problems.
It could have something to do with how many C6 Z06s were sold in the states and the fact that cars tend to be cheaper on the second hand market in their own country vs one where they aren't made or haven't sold a lot. They carry a huge burger tax in Australia and i think in Japan too. even C5s and 4s fetch a way higher price over there than they would here where there are loads of them.
Stay btfo

Why you lying user?
But holy shit have you seen the lap? By the way those tires were screetching I think you wouldn't be able to do a second one.
...
That is because american cars age like milk.
They fall apart after few years.
Rephrase it in a non emotional way.
>Should I spend 1/2 of my savings and significantly increase my monthly expenses on a heavily depreciating item that I'm currently doing just fine without?
assmad gm fangirl detected
When (more likely if) Nissan ever makes a new GT-R, the old ones will depreciate too there user. It's not rocket science, babby.

Where?

American cars in general have reliability issues. Call it tinfoil hat conspiracy but I truly believe that american companies purposely design their cars like shit just so they can sell it for a pretty price and then watch as the cars shit the bed at the 100k mark.
To the top
Blown the fuck out
This
where i live used gtrs have crept up in price.. and mileage..
roughly 5k pounds sterling more than they used to be..
although the same appreciation is not seen on later models.
did i miss something?
If you want a C7 Vette get a Grand Sport, if you want the LT4 buy a ZL1 Camaro or wait for the current gen Z28.
If you want a fun, cheap sports car wait until November of next year and pick up a used 1SS Camaro.
How about you buy rental houses (or other items of investment and capital)? 167k may sound like alot in the short term but in reality it's nowhere near enough to retire on, or even start a business for that matter. You need to make that money work for you, not spend it on a depreciating luxury.
That is, unless I'm misjudging you and you have far more net worth than just 167k. If you have 167k just sitting around with all your other bases covered financially then sure I guess, but personally I would spend 80k on modifying a car.
