I don't really get how to use the statue. I can find see how do NPCs treat other NPCs, but the "thought" window is always blank for the player character. Is there a way to approximately guess how do other characters feel about the player character without actually switching characters for the day?

when you click a character you see what OTHERS think about them. You can't see your PC's thoughts.

I guess I fucked up somewhere, I don't really know how interactions work yet. It's been a few days of just regular chatting with people(hobbies, daily life, all that, occasional encouraging of sad characters), but NPCs already have a shitton of friends and whatnot and I still have the "Don't know" popup. How do they get friendly this fast? Do NPCs follow the same interaction rules or they can cheat their way out a bit?

They follow the same rules(mostly) but they get relationship points more quickly. Guess it's to balance against players who are very effective at wooing girls. If you know what you're doing you can keep the whole class as your all you can fuck buffet even with the handicap. You can always change points gains in the options. NPC have modifiers around 4 if the option is disabled and PC has 1.

Oh, that explains it, I think. I was surprised as all fuck to see that 4 classmates already hate each other's guts as soon as day 3 and some had multiple best friends (downloading a nep card was a mistake). That's pretty cool, I like how the developers did this with shit happening on the background 24/7. Wish I would find this game sooner.

Yeah, npc shenanigans are a major part of why there's aa2g #808. Some of us are very hard to get surprised by it tho(there is such thing as too much knowledge) so enjoy it while it lasts. It's more immersive if you don't know the specifics of how it all works and instead imagine the context to explain the behavior.

Yeah, I'm lovin it. I've briefly read the wiki just to see what do interaction options do, but I pretty much don't understand what else is happening and that's cool. Downloaded a batch of random cards, most seem to work okay, threw that together in a class and enjoy silly scenes like Akeno from DxD beating up Nep-nep for no reason that I could notice yet.

I have no idea about any traits of any of them, I just grabbed random cards that didn't look too different from their card in the editor nor what do most traits do. The only thing I go by is their personalities that are listed in the statue, but that's about it. I wanted to go in blind for the full immersive experience, I'm getting a bit more than I asked for.

Hey guys, new-fag to this general here. So I did the manual install for AA2 from the torrent, downloaded some basic uncensored things and basically no patches and mods.
I'm going to sound like a retard but I also downloaded Wizard and haven't set my things to japanese. The game works and all that but after a few test runs only dialogues and the menus were in english (names and majority of other things were in moonrune) So basically I told myself I was just doing a test and after reading the FAQ pastebin for the 5th time and some parts of the past thread I realized that Wizard is outdated and I guess I did a majority of shit wrong since I can't invite girls into a love hotel (guess it doesn't exist)
So I guess in rage I deleted everything and right now im downloading the AA2 Preinstalled version.
Can one of you guys please spoon feed me if I'm doing the right thing now? Also is there any 100% required mods like uncensored shit and english trans?
Before you guys just recommend me the pastebin that thing is a huge confusing mess. Is there like a dropbox/mega/mediafire to all the must have mods aka all in 1?

Again you guys are probably cringing and shit but all the pastebins I've been reading are about manual installs (which i was certain i did correctly) I just didn't remember installing any mods,dlcs,or patches. I promise you guys I read the OP pastebin like 5 times and it still confuses me with all these links, most of the mods I installed have no readmes and shit.
I'm also confused on how to actually play the game. I thought this was going to be like a sandbox dating sim. Instead its like Sims. It's not like the game had instructions or anything either.
Again don't mean to make you guys facepalm but I could def use some guidance here.

Iirc the 100% needed mods are already in the preinstall. Some of the stuff in the pastebin is outdated. Just make sur you get HEXAOC/HP/PP/CC

What you did initially wasn't wrong but going the preinstalled way is a sure way to get less things wrong. Yes, switching from Wizard to AA2Intall is the best approach to installing mods.
Essential mods for playing are 1 uncensor (SVII or MK-III) 1 Clothing Collection (again SVII or MK-III) HEXA HAIRPACK HEXA OC 3D Rooms More Cumming Positions AAUnlimited (for the newest cards)

Just look them all up in the pastebin and don't be afraid to ask any more questions.

Make changes to your class at night at your bedroom. At the morning before going to school you can change PC. The rest of the day is doing activities and interacting with your classmates. You can only do 3x times any interaction with anyone before they get annoyed at you.
The rest, you should figure out it yourself. Set yourself objectives, make some roleplay, etcetera.

I had to reinstall AA2 because it would randomly freeze so I decided to go with the AA2 Install and everything is fine but I have the windows 10 FPS issues so I got the d3d9.dll that fixes it but it makes my Maker have moon runes.. how can I translate my maker without bringing back the FPS issues?
