>buying American """"luxury"""" when you can buy a fast, fun car from the most reliable car brand in existence

The GSF coz I'm pretty sure that's gonna be a future classic.

A shit car vs shit looking car

hmm hard to say

The Cadillac looks better, I'm not a fan of that Lexus styling at all bleh

cadillac of course

CTS-V for pure fun. GS-F for luxury with power.

cadillac because I am american

Neither, I'd buy the Chevy SS because I've always wanted a commodore and they're finally selling us one, with a manual.

what? but thats slower than GTR, are you retarded?

The CTS V can also be a future classic as well.

It's American so I kinda doubt it desu

This

Unless the ctsv comes in stick

The lexus.

But I'd take the CTS over the german brands too just for the fact that you can drive it for more than 1000 kms without something breaking

i'd wait a few months and buy the new M5.

A Giulia Quadrifoglio

caddy. gm knows how to make solid cars when they want to, cts is probably as solid as gm could make em

Pretty split here.

Bias as I work for Lexus but the GSF is a fucking amazing car.

BUT shit is expensive to replace, brakes are soft on pad material and the face of the rotor so they are fucked every 2 years.

We see no other issues with them and there are no major recall campaigns out for it currently or ones coming up that I know of.

The CTS is the most reliable Cadillac that you can buy.

Contrary to what they want you to believe, the US still haven't fixed their cars.

I'd like to mention that the remaining SS finally have the airbag replacement parts in so the stop sale order has been lifted. They are also heavily discounted as well. For $40k the SS is a good performance per dollar along with a used CTS V Sport.

>tfw you will never own an SS because you'd have to ship the car across one ocean from the US and ship all replacement parts across another few oceans from Australia

GS-F all the way, better build quality, better transmission, comfy af, reliable and imo looks better.

I mean, there's a whole video on it for people who will probably never touch one of these cars in real life so you can pretend you're more informed

>not buying european car

>not buying god tier E43 amg

Have fun with your rebadged Toyota and shitty American bmw

>e43

Fuck me yurofags gonna eurofag

theyre not even pretending they have full size engines anymore

GS-F Doesn't look like a plastic hot wheel.

I mean, lets think about it. Lets say we fast forward 6-8 years..... are the cars going to look "old" or still flashy? At that price point, the ATS will look old but the GS-F will not.

>Muscle Cars

Name more than 3 Lexus classics

Boomers alone make buying muscle cars worth.

A 1993 Buick Century

>rebadged Toyota
How the fuck is that a bad thing??

GTS has better reliability and build quality

...

>Le rebadged toyota meme
The only lexus platform based off of a toyota is the ES
Acura and Honda however....

GS-F is comfy so that one

E43 AMG is a better car
>71 less hp and just as fast/faster
>actually tuneable
>better transmission
>can corner
>rear biased AWD is superior
>$20k cheaper
>mercedes badge
>god-tier interior

The caddy, the CTS-V is the best luxury missile for sale right now.

The Lexus at least has a proper exhaust note, but it's a floppy mess to drive in comparison, and no where near as fast.

All of their SUV's are, but you're right about the cars.
Why is the IS-F kill again?

C63S coupe, pocket the savings

The is f barely sold for shit.

Wish they made more of them....

>The is f barely sold for shit.
It was barely marketed.

I would go with the cts-v

They might come out with a new one in the future.

>V6

Cadillac produces a CTSV every year while Lexus is creating a V8 GSF for the first time and also it was built in very limited numbers.

this.

kek have fun having it fixed every month

cts-v of course

I'd have to go with Lexus because of quality and reliability, not that the Caddy wont be reliable but I'm willing to bet the Lexus will run 300k+ miles.

First Gen SC300\400
first and second gen LS400
the third gen LS430 (still kinda new to be a "classic" but it will be)
first gen IS300
second gen GS300\400\430

oh... and the LFA

Forgot the IS-F.
That's OK because Lexus forgot it too.

LC 500 is looking like another

holy shit, for once Veeky Forums doesnt benchrace and prefers the car that is a full second slower in the quarter and 0-60, but is worlds ahead in terms of interior quality and reliability.

Look up CTS-Vs then compare them to similar year and mileage AMGs and M/// cars.
For some reason the caddies hold value really well.

The Caddy is more desirable to me.

But I know ownership would be a misery so I'd buy the Lexus.

Then I wouldn't be able to stand walking into my garage every day and seeing that fucking face so I'd sell it and get a Miata.

But you get 25% off anyway, you'll come out even

Both need smaller grills...fuck sake, that's awful styling.

>the front of the lexus looks like shit
>the back of the caddy looks like shit
It's a toss up.
If pressed I'd likely choose Lexus despite the lesser performance. If the caddy came in a wagon I'd switch my choice instantly.
CTS-V WAGON SLAYS ALL

Its literally perfect.

Plebs hate it because they're riding around in Oldsmobile Aleros and 90s Ford Tauruses.
