Zs are my favorite cars but which Z is best Z is completely subjective.

The general consensus is that the Twin Turbo Z32 is the best. (Engine bay aside)
I think the original S30 is the best. But my Favorite is the Z31 and I own one. The 370z was just a fixed 350z so its better. The S130 is pretty whack and short lived, but that engine is pretty gud, devil Z was actually a S130.

The 280zx and z32 were different car types than the 240z.

Of the 3 the z32 performed the best, but the 280zx was the nicest to live with.

Allow me to weigh in.

I'm in the unique position of being the proud owner of Veeky Forums's most hated car for 7.5 years and a previous owner of a 350Z and a 300ZX TT.

I can tell you unquestionably the 370 is the better car. If Veeky Forums didn't have such a hard-on for nostalgia and aesthetics and actually paid attention to tech specs and data, then it would be obvious. I honestly can't think of one area in which the 350Z is better. I know most people prefer the look of it, but I think it looks a bit bland and dated now and not nearly as eye-catching as the 370Z.

I agree with you that the 370Z is superior to the 350Z.
However as a drivers car a well sorted Fairlady 240z is what I will pick.
Had the occasion to drive a little in one at a car meet. The dude was a total bro and let me drive it a little (he was sitting shotgun of course).
I also drove a 350Z and while it was a great performance car at the time (still is pretty quick) it didn't give me the same fuz as the old model.
As a side note I an not very tall at 1.81m tall but those cars feel cramped.

these aren't cars that I'd recommend buying new. I picked mine up for 24k with 20k miles and a 125k mile/8 year warranty. 6mt with sport package. same car would've been 10k more new and had a shorter warranty. bargain at 25kish, but at 35kish there's just much better options.
