I haven't played Kichikuou Rance or Rance 01, so naturally I'd like to draw a character from one of those games. I'm not sure if I'd rather draw Lia's mother living as a peasant or Rafalia Musca. I also can't draw for shit, so don't go expecting anything I do to be nearly as nice as some of the drawings we had for the Helman period.

MG is releasing Himawari in December, then some Yuri game, I'm not sure if they're releasing Rance in the same month.

The yuri game is releasing this Friday.

Himawari is releasing 2 weeks after that.

So, logically, Rance is likely to release 2 weeks after Himawari at Dec 23.

A yuri (nukige? Maybe moege fits better.), a plotge, and an HRPG have very little overlap. I'd say the yuri game and Rance have more overlap than either has with Himawari.

Rance might even come out the week after Himawari, but that's probably too optimistic.

I'll preorder the shit out of Rance VI, I want them to put it on sale now.

By the way is Rance 5D any good? the RNG gameplay doesn't look good very good, I feel that everyone is gonna jump to VI and ignore 5D

Our current kit is this one based on Rance's home clothes in IX.

Currently there is work on making a home kit based on Rance's KR armour, an away kit based on Leazas Red Army uniform and a GK kit based on Patton

Preorders could open as soon as Friday after their yuri title goes on sale, as they typically put one title up for preorder as another is released. Although it could be a week or two after Friday depending on the exact release date and what else they have up for preorder with third party titles. At the latest though, I'd be surprised if they don't go up along side Himawari going on sale provided they aren't up before then.

Sengoku Rance, and its spinoff minigame, Slash Thrust Burn - SR was god-tier. STB's nice but won't last you long.

Mamatoto is pretty good if you like TRPGs, Toushin Toshi I is a simple RPG that you could potentially have fun with, Toushin Toshi II is one of the best games Alicesoft produced, it's up there with KR and SR.

There is also Widenyo

Toushin Toshi II is really good. Not as good as KR and SR (or VI)

But much better than III or IV.

But yeah you should learn Japanese if you are an Alicesoft fan.

That said 5D and VI in English very soon and VI is in my opinion the best Rance games

It is very underrated and I like it a lot more than III but I would hesitate to call it better than TT2.

Mamatoto has to be my favorite translated alicesoft game, besides sengoku and kichikuou.
Also don't forget that VI is coming out in a few months

TT2 was a solid RPG and I liked it but the only characters that I remember from it now are Slasher-kun and the announcer girl (don't remember her name). Playing Rance IV was a much more memorable experience for me.

Ok I'm new to eroges but by a friend's recommendation I started playing the rance games. I just finished Sengoku Rance and I liked it. What should I play next? Is Rance 01 translated? Is it worth playing? how does it compare to SR? i think my japanese is good enough so, should I play Quest instead?

It depends on what you liked about SR. If it was the gameplay alone then no, 01 is nothing like it. If you like the characters, dialogue, overall plotline, etc it's good to play the series from the beginning.

If your nip is good then 01 is supposed to be the next step.

But if you're exclusively looking for similar gameplay to SR then either replay it for another route or look into Kichikuou Rance
