can someone please confirm that meido patch 1.41 breaks mods

Sybaris still works.

I have a Reipatcher+Sybaris install at ver 1.40.1 and updating broke it. I had to place a fresh Assembly-CSharp.dll in the Managed and Sybaris\Plugins\Managed folders in order for it to run again.

I made a backup and I'm just going to stay on 1.40.1 rather than upgrade. Some have said that the edit screen loads faster with the update now but I haven't noticed much of a difference. I only have 5 GB of mods and it only seems something like 10 seconds faster though I haven't tested it that much.

Unity5 should be a great improvement but mod authors are going to need time to catch up. I probably won't update until after a new version of Sybaris and MultipleMaids is released. Hopefully this doesn't splinter the community too much and force modders to support both Unity4 and Unity5 versions of their plugins.

Should I update her profile on vndb to change the name then? I don't think anyone would mind much if it was Belka if I provided the reason why.

Newer artists might not try Pixiv over twitter. Older artists will use Pixiv in addition to other ways of promoting themselves. I can't confirm it but I heard a rumor that the reason why more artists are switching to twitter is because Pixiv retains some ownership when you upload to their servers, that is, they can use your artwork to promote Pixiv without having to pay you for it.

It wouldn't surprise me if it were at least partly true since that seems to be how they promote Pixiv Premium. They display popular artwork more prominently to incentivize it without giving the artist a cut. If making artwork is something you do professionally you could be better off using your own site so that you can earn money from page views.
