What is a decent Squire build? Considering going Peltasta > Squire > Murmillo, but I'm unsure. At least with the 5m Murmillo attributes my Peltasta skills can melt monsters in R8 content, but other than that I'm not too keen. I was thinking of Pelt > Squire > Templar, so I can make my own little solo Dilgele farm.

well, squire is supposed to be a get to r7 and die character, but you can give him a super niche as a full mega taunt bot tanker, so yes, pelt is a must.
c1 pelt is enough to get into parties, you can pick other ranks to improve leveling but (like hop, highlander, barb, cata 1) but pelt 3 is decent to leveling too now, butterfly is really nice and the gem is cheap too
so yeah, I think that the unique niche utility we can give to squire is tanking, embrace pelt 3 and drink heavy on con or dex>con to solo well. squire foods and tent are really interesting on parties. mrum just comes at the end to ensure you won't kill yourself. works case scenario you park it t lv 290, sell repair/buffs and do 290 rushes.

No, it's for personal use. Gem roasting can be thrown out the window to favor briquetting which will give a +/- 12% attack.
