Tanks don't have damage that's proportional to the amount of effort it takes to kill them. Even Reinhardt beats you to death in three hits, whereas you need three people to kill him. Tanks are also a very confused role because they're defined by bulk. D. Va, Winston, and Roadhog could all easily be reclassed as offense heroes. Rein and Zarya hold chokes better than any defense hero. If their DPS is above average and mobility (usually) isn't a problem, where's the incentive to pick anything else?

This game will be competely fucking dead in 6 months.

I just lost a comp match on Lijiang because I had a first-time-ever Genji player on my team who refused to switch.

Just a lot of basic tips like stick with your team, don't overextend, try to coordinate your ults and don't just blow them when you're by yourself. Try out all the heroes on the practice range if you want so you can get their abilities down and you could also use custom games to explore the maps if you want.

Best EMP advice I have is to let your team know in advance, and then definitely use it when the enemy Lucio drops the beat. The EMP needs to be used to put concrete in the enemies shoes when they're attempting a solid push.
