what I was talking about is a limitation of the manufacturer, due to thread type and material choice.
look at the O's and there are hooks on them where the grooves of the material go
it is entirely possible to get sharper looking, but then it will cost a lot more to produce them resulting in needing higher prices to reduce the risk of making the purchase, as when buying from manufacturers they typically have a fairly large minimum order requirement for each individual design, regardless of country of origin.
if they were super sharp they could probably fetch like 12 bucks from people opposed to the 5 hes planning on, but probably sell 1/3rd of what he'd be able to sell otherwise which goes directly back into /osg/ products.
they are priced fairly and I will be planning on getting at least one or two
