I used this for reference. The initial sketch had her fingers straight like she was opening for an embrace or gesturing for approval, but I felt it made her look too natural. So I dislocated her fingers at the joints. It didn't get the exact look I wanted, but I still like it a bit more than fully straight fingers.

ClosedQuest gave delicious chicken ass and was more relevant to /5N@F/ as a whole though, with a structure that tied closer to the games. If you switched some names around, GQ could be completely detached from FNAF and nothing would change. In this sense you could say GQ has more creative and colorful characters, but that's because there was no template to work from, GMF managed to make her characters strictly using FNAF1 as a template and made it work. An outlandish story that breaks confines is impressive, but equally if not more impressive is managing to make a story work in quest form in a very strict, contained structure like GMF did.

Imagine if CQ came out a bit earlier, say around the time FNAF3 came out, it would have been a behemoth here.

Both quests were relevant to /5N@F/ for different reasons, and also handled their ties to the source material in different ways. CQ focused more on the victims' tragic pasts and motif for being murderbots, while GQ focused more on events leading up to the murders. The name swap thing falls apart because GQ focused heavily on the murders involving Purple, the events leading up to it and the convoluted reason as to why he did it. Even during the quest, it's revealed why the bots are what they are, and in Oracle's case, a background on what the pizzeria was like prior to the murders. In addition, I have to give credit to GQ for being able to tie-in the events of TWY and Mangled to Pieces into its story, while also setting the stage up for Dust Bunny as well. You can give credit to GMF for sticking closer to the source material, but I have to give equal credit to Ghost for managing to stick with his own lore while managing to still be related to FNAF. That, and the sheer impact that GQ had on the board from OC content, to the memes, waifu and discussion of the quest that was brought forth.

Also, GMF's Chica never appealed to me, but to each their own I guess.

GQ was stellar in its first half but absolutely fucking tanked in the second. As people have said before, Ghost pulled a Cawthon. He tried explained all of the big mysteries with unsatisfying answers while leaving new, smaller, less interesting and ultimately irritating questions in its wake. Coupled with Them overtaking the entire plot like a malignant tumor and the conclusion of the quest ultimately affecting Ghost's other writings after the fact, and it just kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth after the very immersive first half.

FNAF World PCs are just characters from a haunted game that pull from the main universe. Cathy Chica =/= FNAF World Chica/Phantom Chica in any way. Don't worry.

Also the reason the ghost changed is experimental, maybe not permanent yet, but I always through it would be interesting to take the portrayal of ghosts in a new direction in that the spectral form still ages after death, even when when the ghost gets so old and wrinkled the flesh peels away and it's just bones moving around on loose rotting tendons and muscles, puppeteering their burnt animatronic husks. Creepy in a way you don't usually see with ghosts and a chance to draw newer, more creative content with the Ghost Kids of FNAF 1. I REALLY want to make more FNAF3 content, Dust Bunny is there but it's more post FNAF3, I'd love to dive into what it was like for Chase when he dealt with Dusty when she was Springtrap and the Phantoms of the FNAF1 cast haunting the establishment.
