ITT: Cars people forgot existed.
ITT: Cars people forgot existed
This is probably just me, but I forgot about the "recent" Ford Thunderbird..
Also, I shit you not.. But I saw a chromed out SSR the other day.
...
nobody remembers that mid-sided pickup truck hummer made before Gm pulled the plug on hummer. i think it was just a beef up chevy colorado.
idk
...
I never forgot this car existed, it's just hard finding examples that aren't rotting out from sitting or bear to shit
...
Part L-Series Saturn
Part Dodge Stratus
Saw one the other day with 24 inch wire wheels. I've also seen one towing a large boat. I wish I could forget these existed. Plus when you see one you are also reminded of other abominations like the Prowler
...
Saw one today, first I've seen in several years
Some of them came with LS2s(?)
...
...
...
...
...
I'd buy one just to change the "A" to an "O" in the model name.
...
...
...
are you a millennial?
...
...
...
...
Came her to post this. See also: the Talon.
...
More like part L-Series
Part Intrepid, because ya know
That's what it fucking was
...
Daewoo
I'm gonna go ahead and be honest: I like the way the Prowler looks, I just wish it weren't made by Chrysler. Stick a fuckhuge V8 or turbo'd V6 in it, and make sure a non-FCA company manufacturers it, and you've got a neat pseudo-future hot-rod.
My mom has a Swift, it's pretty good
Dude, these were the stoner cars before the wrx became affordable enough for high school kids to save up for them. $3k for an awd turbo coupe that could be boosted on the cheap.
>$3k
>for a Talon
No, sorry that's wrong
You could never get a Talon TSi AWD for $3k unless it was run into the fucking ground
the past few days i've seen a Hyundai Entourage and a Mitsubishi Endeavour.
I thought it was a concept. Saw a lot on ebay just now.
I saw one in London. Had no idea it existed before that
I haven't seen one of these on the road in over a decade. They must be pretty comfy in all those boomer garages.
That's exactly what all H3s. Arguably the most useable hummer of the bunch since you can actually fit them on trails. They get shit on a lot, but they're good at what they were supposed to do.
I've got a canyon and would love to get an H3 alpha one day (the alpha added the v8).
wait what the fuck give me info
>the cougar is forever dead and gone
Dodge Super 8 Hemi. Lucky this thing is only a concept and will remain that way
I hope whoever designed this pursued a different career.
>implying it's not a car hipster's favorite Subaru
Car Hipster here
It is my favorite Subaru
fuck you i like it
I used to race one of these in the local FWD class. Was fast until it blew up
what car is this
What is this? I see like two a day and all I can tell is it's a Mitsubishi. At first I thought it was an RX7 or GT86 with a bad bodykit
Mitsu starion / Chrysler conquest
...
SSR would be cool if it didn't weigh fifty thousand pounds
All electric s10. Some are still out there. Had a 98 mile range. Similar to the EV1. GM was far ahead of its time for all electric vehicles.
...
I genuinely like these things.
I know theyre big, soft, hopeless etc.
But I'd love to Roadtrip in one
more like the M8 proto
I've always thought about getting an '06. For whatever reason I've always loved it.
>manual, not a bad car
>auto FUCKING CD4E REEEEE
Neighbor owns a yellow 06 with a 6spd
jesus christ what the fuck is that
put a warning on that shit so you don't blind people next time
i will do anything for the return of the legend
>Dodge Super 8 Hemi.
Well, havent you seen Chrysler 300/Dodge Magnum?
...
...
New Zealand still has a few running about on the road
lord knows why
I watched the r-eddit furry review on this, he's gotta couple of good points about it
De Tomaso has like a cult following the Pantera. Take a design made by Ghia and put a Windsor/Cleveland in it. Boom, nice 70s wedge form and an throaty engine. Kinda want one of them.
...
>Implying I'm not going to buy one soon.
...
...
Is that a canyonaro?
I saw two of these in one day a few years ago then never again. I've wanted one since then
I live in a town full of wannabe "rednecks", there's a few of these hideous things around
...
thats just a Vauxhall Astra MK2!! Always find badge engineered cars fascinating
Initially came with v6 iirc
its hell m8
when asking for spare parts you have to use the name of the more common variant else no one knows what the fuck you are on about
and on occasion the licence built versions of some cars with have minutely different specification's or bad quality control
so oem part or not you will have to bodge and adapt the parts Frankenstein style
its like this with fiat and bmc/leyland anyway
Yes I can imagine, I was always taught to avoid Fiats like the plague
It's honestly so fucking sad that Oldsmobile is gone. Was the oldest car manufacturer in the US.
RIP
Plymouth had a truck also?
Didn't know this was the first gen Prius for the longest time, thought it was the one after this
since 1997 or some shit
my grand parents were test driving one in early 2001
Rare as rocking horse shit these cars. Popular with Joy Riders back in the day.
kek.
Just a Chevrolet Kadett in south america. I like the station wagon.
It was a rebadged Dodge Ramcharger iirc
nice thompsons reference
Holy Jesus it looks like shit
My fucking God I always hated those ugly pieces of shit, everyone around me told me they looked pretty neat.
Pic related, what it fucking looks like
exact same feels here
fuck that car
...
Lol my girlfriend was just talking about this car today.
The Toyota Yaris Verso (aka Fun Cargo in Japan)
These things have seemingly disappeared from the streets entirely. I can't remember the last time I actually saw one. I only remembered it from randomly seeing an ad for a used one in my area. Then again, IIRC they didn't sell well at all.
Wtf, cool af
Pls don't remind me ;_;
It's my dad's (60 year old boomer) dream car. He currently owns a yellow 2006 shitstang auto v6. That should tell you all you need to know about this car
That's a mk2 opel astra
Massively underrated
They were produced in limited quantities in 94 I believe. Sold exclusively as a government fleet vehicle on a 10 year agreement or something. Any still out there are vehicles that should have been crushed already.
I mean, the one pictured clearly has a coolant reservoir sticking out so its not a real electric. As far as S10 variants go, the S10 EV is the rarest, and also one that nobody knows much about due to the fact that they weren't publicly sold. It would be amazing if some where still functional and on the road still.
