I work, do some hobbies and play pretty much everyday (1-3 hours) but can't enjoy single player or co-op games at all, playing them feels like a waste of time compared to playing few fighting game sets, and I can't get immersed into SP games.
I find fighting games relaxing most of the time after a day of work.

To all those people who think SFV is the best SF game in the franchise: what makes it great and better than any entry in the franchise?
Because from what I play this game is serviceable but not that great.
I still don't get why people say "This game has issues, but the core gameplay is great!" without explaining what makes it great in the first place. I think some people are still playing the game because it has Street Fighter written on it and it's the only traditional fighting game to have a relatively big competitive scene, so they pass whatever issue this game has under the rug.

You said it. And it's not some minor dumb shit, a fighting game's life really depends on its playerbase. SFIII sold shit as well and they still supported it for the next 7+ years.

A lot of people like the punishing nature of it, needing on point anti airs that this board complains about (which is ironic because people complain this game is too easy but when something requires you to be on point or you get punished they complain), the match is never secured for you so you always have to be cautious.
The game just needs some minor gameplay tweaks, input lag reduction, making the hit boxes more intuitive and allowing for more footies by having more active frames on buttons. I guarantee these changes will be implemented for S2
