get a well worn fox body mustang or a chevy vega or something. even econoboxes from the 90s can be good for that, like a gen 1 mitsubishi eclipse or honda civic or ford probe

just find anything cheap. just do research before buying to make sure the car has a good online community for help and parts

Look into other datsun sedans or old hondas and toyotas. One of them will be priced low-ish in your region and you'll be able to afford it.

Dropped a bit of time in this game. Accidentally jammed the forks into the datsun, spent 3 hours trying to get it unwedged.

Side note, I finally did finish building it, and now it makes a tinking noise as I drive, google isn't helping. What's up with that?

in the US you're more likely to find a carbureted V8 than an cabureted I4. they aren't "harder" at all, just more parts to wrench. If you keep it dated from the 70s or before they will be simplistic and easy to learn on like the datsun in this game but equally frustrating and tempermental.

I was able to put together the game car without too much trouble. I'm sure that's not a full indication of assembling a real life car but who knows. My hearts kinda into the beetle, would it be a terrible idea?

Figured it out. When I started, two of the screws started halfway around. Now I just need to lean it up to cut out the backfire.

press f to equip, then L-click to spray on any exterior part (hood, fender, body, boot lid, door)

There is no console on the bought version. There never were any cheats to assemble the car, only to teleport and to get money. They corrupted the saves so they're pointless.

Yes. . Can't reach 200 kmh yet though. It has to be one of the gear ratios that push it a bit farther. You won't pass inspection with the steel headers and racing exhaust/muffler though.
