More like "no season tires" amirite?

Real question: I live near Seattle, it doesn't really freeze in the winter and snow is a rarity (none at all last year) Is there a point to getting snow/winter tires? I heard snow tires do worse in the non-frozen wet, which is what Seattle is all year round.

If not, does that mean I should be on summer tires year-round?

Snow tires have a different rubber compound that grips better in cold conditions. It's still not essential if you don't get any snow IMO

yes you are right

I wish I had all-seasons on my WRX because no matter how hard I've pushed it (only owned for 500 miles) I cannot get anything to break loose on Potenza S-04's.

Everettfag here

Snow tires are much better than all seasons sub 40 degrees or so, obviously in the snow but also the wet. All season/summer tires don't warm up and stay hard in colder temps. They're not completely necessary along the greater seattle i5/405 corridor in all honesty, though. When we do actually get snow, just prepare your anus and pray you don't live in a hilly area.

We really don't get much thick ice around here to bother with studded tires either. They're worse than non studded tires in every situation but thick ice

Unless it's wet, it's still a struggle with all seasons

Can't slap either side

Theres nothing wrong with all seasons

90% of all cars are sold with them. Having two sets of tires is just a fucking added cost for minimal improvements

What do you have slicks and snow tires?

Or i could just go over and slap them anyway
