Are the vehicle laws as strict as people say?
Cant have an aftermarket exhaust?
No engine mods? Literally can't do shit to your car modification wise?

And is there a way for me to pass emissions without actually passing emissions, is there anywhere you guys specifically go to?

meh, most smog testers DGAF as long as you pass. Technically any mod you put on your vehicle needs to be on the CARB approved list but they're not going to tear your engine bay apart to fine you, they'll just fail you

Shame, the results are pretty decent and I was hoping it was either some magical plugin I didn't know about or an affordable rig I could put my DSLR on.

You can use the DJI Zenmuse X5 with it for m4/3 lenses which apparently gives amazing results. If you want to keep your current filming rig take a look at the Ikan EC1 - someone I worked with has one and apparently it's amazing.

Yeah, a gimbal like EC1 is what I need, I'm not gonna buy into the m3/4 ecosystem at this point. Dat price tho.
