Karin drags everything down. Bringing a stock, spinoff-original character into the series proper was a mistake, and the only thing that makes her tolerable now is that her rekkas are locked into a power-up state. Literally what the fuck is Capcom doing? Making stages that obscure player characters and have overly-distracting backgrounds? This is the kind of shit you'd expect from an amateur fighting game dev, not someone who has been in the business for more than two decades.
I don't understand it. Not only are they terrible ideas for stages (Beach could have been good, I suppose, but fighting on a plane WHILE IT'S FLYING should have been nixed immediately), but they put a lot of effort into making these stages overly-complicated. Out of all of the areas where they seem to have cut corners in this game, now they want to go "all out" and start making crazy stages that are so over-the-top that they're being banned at tourneys?
