Yeah, just go to the specific mod folder and edit there. If you have the alternate mod launcher (which you should) simply right-clicking the mod will take you directly to the folder.

How could a patch that only added controller support have this much impact on my performance? I've lost like 20 FPS.

Also, why did they make the text smaller for most menus and HUD elements?

Are Psi Soldiers worthwhile in XCOM2 Vanilla?

It feels like they are a pain in the ass to get to and space is already limited.
I'm trying them out and I had to choose between a psi lab or a proving ground this month. The guy has been useful though.

Also are laboratories good in your opinion? I like them by virtue of it making having just one or two scientists workable.

They can save you in a pinch with the right skills like stasis and so on.

And they can be kind of useful in the last mission.

It also reset your graphics settings, may want to check that first.

I did, bumped them back down. Got better performance on higher settings before.

Now, I AM mid-campaign so I guess it could be a mod conflict of some sort, but trying to figure out what it is going to be a pain.

Terrans wouldn't have had a chance without Protoss interventions. An entire world is pretty much infested before anyone even notices, so I don't think I need to spell out what would happen to earth.

Given the autumn sale going on, was wondering - how are the DLC's? Are they worth picking up?

Also if you get the chance, listen to this user and buy R6 Siege if you like tacticool FPS. It's all I've been playing since beating some campaigns in XCOM.

Hey lads, been playing this game recently to see if it runs better than launch, and it does!

I got a shitload of voicepacks and am in the process of making an A-Team and a B-Team.

I rushed PSI labs before I built anything else and have so far been doing pretty well. My psi op guy is decently trained, and he feels like he brings a lot of crowd control+oh shit buttons to the table. Probably my best operative.

My next favorite is the Ranger. High risk high reward playstyles. If you do it right and get lucky, he can really save your teams ass. I gave his ass an exo suit for added mobility and defense, seeing as how he's gonna be in the shit more often than not.

Demolitions are a solid pick as well. Being able to suppress/demolish enemies and their cover is very useful. I usually bring two of these motherfuckers with me.

Specialists are damn good. I keep one on the team always. Being able to hack enemy mechs and turn them against each other is a great asset. I have a "Field Medic"class mod, so I dont use my specialists for healing.

I haven't fucked with snipers/gunslingers at all. I heard gunslingers are god tier, but I haven't put the effort to get one leveled. Am I missing out?

For those of you who use the AS VAL/VSS Vintorez mod, would it be detrimental to you if the textures were improved, but the option to color it was removed? I simply cannot figure out how to make the MSK texture look so that I can keep the improved look, yet also keep coloring, so at this point it's either custom colors or a reskin.

So you're using the blue channel of the MSK texture for something else instead of the color? Well, you could just make the colorable parts of the model use a separate material and just make a separate MSK texture for that material.

The colorable part of the model wouldn't benefit from whatever it is you're doing with the blue channel but the rest of the gun would.

Alternatively you could look at E3245's expanded materials or whatever, maybe there's one there that you can use without sacrificing the color.

I'm using the blue channel of the MSK texture for color. And separating the colorable parts--the base of the gun--won't help. Will look at E3245's expanded materials, but I doubt this will help. It's an MSK issue, not a Weapon_TC issue.

Alien Hunters is great, you can tell how shit someone is based on how much they bitch about it. Missions is alright and rulers are fun to fight against though they can really ruin your mission
Shen's Last Gift adds a fun really fun mission but SPARKs leave much to be desired.

Alien's Ruler 8/10 git gud, loses 2 points because shit aesthetics
Last Gift 9/10 everything's good, loses 1 point because Sparks are kinda crappy, mods fix that though.
