Do you guys main titans exclusively? I try to rotate titans based on what map I'm playing and I think it's made me a jack of all trades master of none.

What's worse playing against shitters or playing with shit teammates?

I usually play scorch on close quarters maps or small lane maps. Complex is the best map for scorch and I really like to play him on dry-dock and Eden.
For all the other maps I play Ion usually

Against shitters. I don't mind getting my ass kicked unless it's by 6 cloakers who all use Tones.

Was maining Ion for versatility and style

ION is mai waifu, i main her exclusively and i love her, like she loves me. We are planning on ordering dinner tonight and watching some fun movies while cuddling together on a sofa and making some sweet love later before bed.

An actual PvE mode would be amazing and would add alot of hours for me personally.

A lot of love for Scorch and Ion. I've been trying to play Ronin in place of Scorch on close quarters maps but I think I'll go back. I rarely find myself being useful for more than one engagement as Ronin but his OS sounds so good.

Feels corny, but feels even better.

Ronin is the ultimate anti-pilot titan aside from tone. You shouldn't really use him against other Titans unless you team up with scorch to bully them into his fire traps.

Yeah, just coop in the single player would be great actually.

Or even better, take it even further make the coop be one player as the AI/Titan and the other as the Pilot, and give the Pilots control of some more weapons when inside the Titan, I think I'd like that.

I think this is the first game (that I can remember) that actually made me answer out like that, it's just somehow manages to form such a bond between Pilot and Titan, and the short greeting just adds so much to that.

And I agree on feeling bad when the Titans blow up, the worst feeling being dying after Titanfall then finally coming back to see your Titan getting gangraped and almost at self-destruct..

There seems to be a hell of a lot of camping going on in Titanfall 2 compared to the first one.

ive had multiple Attrition games today where the enemy team just hangs around the edge of the map and just waits for their titans.

It's a tone based game
If you're not in a tone you're losing

Camp til tone, then play, if you die back to camp

basically every time I play the map with the monorail thing in the middle, someone starts the match with A-wall and a devotion on their side of the track

two reasons for that:

1) really short ttk + controller aim assist means that killing fast moving pilots is trivial. your speed doesn't provide much defense and really puts you out in the open

2) a lot of camping tools like A-wall, sentries, pulse blade/map hack, amped DMR/hemlock/R201 killing nearly instantly.

It's kind of frustrating, I feel like they catered to shitters too much this time around. Stuff like AWall and sentries shouldn't be in the game at all.

Speaking of executions, do all the titans have unique ones? I've only seen the executions that Ronin and Ion perform so far.

Well but I say remember your melee since I only really see people use it for executions these days.
Since you're in close quarters so often, you should remember to use it when your clip is out of ammo

FFA with the monsters added into the mix would be pretty dope

So they know how weak he is compared to the rest, and just decided to cater to it with a useless kit. Nice aRespawn

I had my hopes it would end with the first update. That Respawn would see the numbers of Tones, the abundance of certain weapon types, the imbalance of clock and phase shift over everything else and do something in the way to make the rest of the ingame content worthwhile to use in a competitive sense.

With this latest update they might have been forgiven with not releasing any balance changes, this stuff was probably in the pipeline months ago. But then you look at the addition of a three round burst for Tone. It's a simple change but how can anyone not see the potential for this? Not only do Tones missiles already require zero recharge time, they will now be able to lock onto an enemy even faster.

I simply cannot comprehend why they felt this was needed. Even if changes are made to the damage numbers or accuracy of the cannon's shots this will provide another avenue for Tones to spam their missiles. If the accuracy remains it'll be a simple task of popping round corners, firing the burst shot, popping back and firing missiles. Charge up another burst and repeat. If the accuracy is nerfed they can simply move to close range and do a dance round the enemy. Dance, charge, fire burst, fire missiles.

This wasn't needed AT ALL and will only go to further imbalance the titan classes in favour of a class that literally has no weakness already. My only hope at this point is that balance changes do exist and simply haven't been revealed yet. But considering this update drops next week, that's hard to believe.

It's probably a part of the balance change, remember they haven't said anything about that yet only given us what content we are getting.

It'll probably be that the three-round burst is better up close, but you can't missile lock on right away and/or something like that.

Anyone have a solution to this? I've tried everything from reinstalling directx, clean uninstalling my AMD drivers via guru in safe mode and reinstalling updated versions. Doing a clean install of TF2 didn't work and neither did using origin to repair and update files. I turned off origin in game and I don't have any other overlay software.
My specs are
Processor (CPU): AMD FX 8320 Eight core 3.5GHz
Graphics Card (GPU): AMD Radeon R9 270x with 6Gbs of available graphics memory and 2GBs of dedicated video memory.
Memory: 8GB
