Having 15 seconds of 1 gcd blinks against anything that isnt a mage is backbreaking, it creates an enviornment where there is little to no counterplay for any non mage caster.
Along with the amount of disruption sub has its just busted, most non mage catsers wont get a cast off against you because they will always be on the defensive especially if you are a blood elf rogue.

Every class does have ways to keep up and gap close on ranged, but the difference is sublety has an infinite amount of them and every other class has to cycle theirs correctly or they will get locked down and die.
Shadows strike makes it so you can play like you are a literal retard vs casters.
