Make a team at the shop vendor thing, walk up to a CaC and inspect their profile, Trinagle/Y on the controller, and you should be able to invite them to your team.

you can do that by going to the PQ & battle booth area, between them, on the other side of the fountain area, there's a little capsule house where you can become a team leader
once you do that you can invite people from their play data page, which you can get to in numerous ways

don't say recruit because that makes it sound like fusions, where you actually recruit people

You get the option to change your CaC's look with the Dragon Balls though. Post game.

This is the first game in years to have this effect on me, but as soon as I saw the intro, Conton City and all the familiar characters around me I was drawn deeply into the game and played for 12 hours straight. It cured my game impotence and made me feel like I did when I was 13, starting Everquest 2 and being blown away by everything.

Now that I have 120 hours booked in the flaws are more apparent, but I'm still glad I picked this up and I love you guys. Though I should probably have been there for the first game

Each race and gender has an unique design - the fusion can't change the race and gender of the avatar, so it'll always be the same even after the avatar fuses. Skin color is the only thing that changes based on the individual character that initiates it (so, you could end up with a green Ultra Fusion if you fuse with a Namek).

I think the outfit color is also influenced by the participating characters, but I'm not sure how it's determined.

How do I reliably step vanish instead of burst dashing? Press dash+direction at the same time instead of consecutively? This shit is giving me carpal tunnel syndrome

You press Step Dash + Vanish button whilst moving the analog stick to direct where your character will vanish too.

To use it multiple times in a row you just spam press Step Dash + Vanish while moving Analog stick.
