No I think Blizz will probably remove the teleporter eventually. Assuming they don't need the shield gen, teleporter will basically go unused.

Shield gen:
>Fucking huge radius, more places to hide it
>75 regenerating health
>keeps whole team alive longer
>effectively permanent if well defended

Teleporter:
>has to be put relatively close to the fight, easier for enemy to leave the fight to look for it
>used after team mate dies, so still respawn and some travel time before they're back
>only 6 charges

There's almost no reason to use the teleporter at all. Unless your team is so bad that an additional 75 health can't save them, in which case getting trek back to the fight quicker probably isn't going to help much.

You generally have to aim to get kills and for the few characters where that matters less than usual you still have to know when to jump in and when to retreat before you get completely assfucked
