PS3 had a feature where you could have your headset/microphone NOT pickup game sounds from the TV or speakers
iirc you would place your mic in front of the speaker and the system would play a series of noise out of the speakers and after a few seconds the mic would be calibrated to not tx the sounds picked up off of the TV

with the few games that i do have that use the speaker on the PS4 controller my mic picks up that sound and tx it to everyone on chat

there is a bit of a shitstorm with 4k/HDr tvs at the moment anyway. With some saying they support it but actually don't, or having input lag so bad that even singleplayer games are unplayable.

I'd recommend getting a 1TB, most games are reaching 60 - 70gbs with patches.

If you didn't already know, disc games install themselves. So even if you go physical instead of digital you will still face the same problems.
