anyone else noticing that belts with only 1 or 2 different shell types in them spark alot less than mixed ones ? might be placebo effect after a friendo asked me about it but shitty netcode might be another reason

What's the best German 20 mm belt for AI killing? There's "Ground Targets" belt, but it has lowest pen of all avaliable belts?
Also how effective are German 37 mm and 50 mm vs AI tanks? Worth using?

the 37 and 50 are effective with HVAP and a bit luck but they do the usual "hit)))) " like other guns too

with late .50 belt I get a lot better results with setting shit on fire, when I use Universal belt, rather than flamethrower belt.
2 reasons I can think off
Different velocities make bullets slightly spread along targets path
They take reduced incerdiary load (to make place for tracer) into account, so API-T while newer is actually weaker than API

My wild guess is, APHE is anti-aircraft AP, and was not meant to be used aganist armored vehicles, but for some reason anti-aircraft AP makes majority of anti-tank belt

I guess. But staying on target like that when the enemy threw his mouse across the room was one of it's few advantages. Now it only has it's rollrate (good luck getting above the enemy so you can actually use your speed advantage) left.
