Once the attack starts, you have no hurtbox, so you can't be harmed until the move finishes. Plus, the 'activation' hitbox is fairly big. Because of that, you can use it to get through some things, or use it at point blank if you expect a vanish or sidestep

The slide is the normal activation, and the attack occurs once the target is within a certain proximity of the attacker. It's a relatively big radius, yeah, but you can move out of the way. It's EXTREMELY vulnerable if it whiffs, since you move in a straight line for 2 seconds. It also has a delay before initial activation before the attack can come out, so it can only be used in certain situations, or it can be beat with attacks

The world tournament is pointless. I've lost like 2 matches out of 20 and I only lost 1 QP each loss. That means the top players will just be whoever no lifes it the longest because it is impossible to lose.
