I know I'm a bit late in responding to this but just for future reference for fellow anonbro invaders: if you carry around a chime (you don't even have to meet the chime's requirements, just the miracle's) you can basically use embers for free heals as long as you can get some space away from host/phantoms to use it. Works as long as you have FP so you should probably bring at least 1 ashen estus with you to invasions.

So I mean if you're totally out of heals at least, it might really save your ass. For reference, Caressing Tears is the lowest FP using miracle and Heal Aid has the lowest faith requirement. Heal Aid is probably the way to go if you don't want to invest any points into faith.

Why would he be fucked? It's his first character, he's not going to get into SL120 metafaggot PvP with it. All classes are solid enough for a first PvE playthrough.

Is lightning weapon a significant upgrade over blessed weapon? I'm mostly wondering about the stat increase, I'm at 20 faith.

They do different things, user.

It's entirely different, Blessed weapon is a %AR increase and doesn't scale with stats, deals more to skeles. Lightning is a flat lightning damage bonus per hit, subject to split defences which scales with your faith and catalyst upgrade level.

Aside from skeles, Blessed should only be better on a large weapon when your spellbuff is low.

The point was that DS1 can only be considered more challenging than DS3 if you consider the experience of somebody who misses out on these little details which make the difference between smooth sailing and an uphill struggle.

If you honestly believe that nobody is going to miss this stuff and that it isn't an issue, then you clearly can't think DS1 is a particularly challenging game, in which case what are you even arguing about.

Holy shit just fought champion gundyr for the first time, beat him emberless and buffless on 3rd try, this is probably my second favorite boss after abyss watchers, his moveset is so fucking nicely done cant wait for NG+ to fight him again, probably go help others beat him, so much fun

for 120 you can go warrior class with 40 vig, end, str and dex and still have points to play elsewhere, I usually go with vit for more fashion options.
Pick any weapon in the game that works with refined infuse, which is almost all of them, and try it out.

The thing about Souls games is that most of the players are just bad, so going on a win streak in arena doesn't really mean much. Not trying to downplay your achievement or anything.
