Even the people that write books on the subject have a hard time doing it, even top tier 6 figure income professionals don't have set in stone TL methods. It's a very hard thing to do that monolinguals simply will not and cannot understand. That being said, getting stuff wrong, such as forgetting a negation or just being grammatically incorrect is unacceptable, but if you are really going to complain about missing or including honorifics, just learn japanese. For a new Generation you have to complete Hazuki and Manami's route before unlocking the other 2 routes. Once you do that you can start a new playthrough and just pick up at the start of whatever route you want and don't have to go through the common route to get the the route branches. The routes start after Hazuki and Manami gather all their friends on the roof to eat together to celebrate them having started dating. Then there's a scene of Hazuki and Mamani at Hazuki's house. And that's where the routes officially start.

But keep in mind the games are completely separate. They're both within their own little universe and don't follow one another in terms of story, so you can just read one without having read the other.
