Who knows man, casual audiences value graphics more and dedicated players. I think I heard the place where they're hosting them is owned by microsoft, don't know if that'll have any sort of effect. I didn't know games could do shit like this, then again I'm pretty tech retarded besides using a computer for a few simple things and porn. What a time to be alive. This really shows that SNK really does want to flourish and give people good things.

Some of it looks like new textures which might be a lot of work but is definitely doable. If they're changing lighting or something that does sound pretty crazy but damn that looks way different.

I wonder if they've been working on this patch ever since the game got released. The texturework, shaders/lighting look completely different on Kyo after the patch. If they're doing it for every single character in the game, that is a lot of work in such a short amount of time.

I sure they will. The tweet by SNK said that it'll be playable at PSX, but I wonder when it will be released. Either way it's a nice improvement. I guess building their own engine and shit was the right choice for them. I wonder what future stuff from them will be like.

XIII isn't so much complicated as it just had too much in the way of long ass anime combos. That's not complexity, that's just added tediousness. But if you want hard as balls combos, try 2k2 max mode combos. 99% of the time you won't even be able to execute them.

yep. i got used to the graphics, but now that the new update apparently put in lighting/shaders that actually exist, this is turning out better than expected. the core gameplay is great enough, it just lacks the other graphical touches of other fighting games.
