If you had between 150k and 250k to spend on a car, what would you buy, and why?
"Cheap" supercars
i would buy a mustang or focus rs then go stage 3 or 4 performance tuning and rekt everything in taht range
2 viper ACRs
I'd buy a new Golf R and keep it mostly stock. Then I'd pocket the other $200k.
geo metro is the only correct answer
You can buy ONE (1) car and mods can't be included. Any money unspent you don't keep.
EG Hatch with $147k thrown at it in sikmawds
well fuck me sideways because I would want a viper ACR which is less than $150k, or a saleen s7 which is more than $250k
A Mustang, Focus, or Civic with 100k+ worth of mods will be slower AND less reliable/comfortable than a Huracan (which is faster than a GT-R Nismo)
Then I'd buy ONE (1) car, any car, that came out to almost exactly $250,000, and quickly sell to someone for $200,000.
Then I'd buy a Golf R and pocket the remaining $150k.
Fuck you and your gay game.
Porsche 911 Turbo
Renowned handling and performance, excellent speed, and a very active and available car club culture so you can do more than "roll up" in it.
Probably the R8. If you get a Lambo or Ferrari, it needs to be a V12 or else you are a tryhard. The Merc AMG GT would be cool but they don't stand out enough if you are thinking about something like a Lamborghini in the first place. Snek TA or ACR would be dope though.
Otherwise Aston Martin but idk what those things even go for these days.
This all makes me think, when the hell is BMW going to make a real supercar? I'm not sure if I would even like it, but if they made a mid-engine V8 or V10 car in the late 90s or early 00s it would probably have been a cool car.
Porsche RS
But I'd change the wheels I don't like the stock ones.

this
v8s simply cannot compete
Let's face it, I wouldn't be driving a car worth six digits on a regular basis, so I might as well view it as an investment, in which case I'd be leaning towards this (claimed as rare because manual) Facel Vega FVS with a 300 and odd hp Hemi.
Other contenders were a Delahaye 235 MS Chapron (slower and uglier and no rarer), a hand crafted aluminium Maserati 450S replica on Maserati running gear (beautiful but only a replica), one of two Alfa Romeo Montreal Group 4 touring cars in the world (rough looking because race machine), the 000 rolling chassis prototype of the Lancia Delta S4 Stradale (literally no drivetrain or interior) and a whole bunch of Detomaso Panteras including one with 600 hp (which I would've liked but which simply don't seem like they'd increase in value).
An R8 or a Porsche
RS6. Dat stealthy wagon.
a fully optioned nismo nissan gt-r.
Fite me
...
>buying the autismo gt-r
>rek your spine driving it anywhere except a perfectly paved track
>look like a tool driving everywhere in an LMP
>can't drive it over a pebble without scraping
mclaren 570s or huracan
Nismo GTR
And then you pull up next to some skinny kid named GS400guy who just bought a used one that looks exactly the same as yours but with moar camber for $35k.
For OPs price range there is only one answer
BMW has the best line of any auto manufacturer in 2017 if you saw the Paris auto show no one came close to BMW
g class
>memes
yiff in hell furfag
I am not Alphonse, glad I triggered you tho
Mclaren 570 gt probably. But given op's retarded constraints, i couldnt afford ibsurance on it for very long
AMG GT-S
I don't want to be confused with a chink with daddy's money so Lamborghini is a no-no. And I don't want to be seen as another normie with a Ferrari.
"oh, I'll get the shittier version of the huracan because the huracan is "tryhard""
seriously man, have you really got so much brainwash about status quo's that you'd bin a lambo because there's a more expensive one? The V10 lambos have always been appreciated for their handling and lightness and many think they're even better than the V12, which if you think about it makes sense, there's a video of a drag race between the aventador and the huracan and it's very close up to 250kmh, a speed you won't be reaching so often, and actually the huracan was faster to 100kmh.
Its okay we're buddies and we share the same mindset of looking successful while driving used luxury.
...
huracan is the right answer.
its stunningly beootyful.
and the previous r8 is actually pretty darn near perfect..
imo.
