You also have to combo it to be able to get the effect so it's not even something you will play on turn 2 and will probably be something you play later like brewmaster. It's pretty much just a worse brewmaster, it won't see play

think of other cards like eviscerate, backstab, colblood, conceal, sap. They can all effect the board in some way to help stall and combo with gadgetzan,this doesn't help with the board

You'd have to handbuff it three or four times to make it out of range of popular board clears.

Probably good in full handbuff decks, but these decks might end up full meme decks.

i feel like it has more potential in shaman decks with evolve than with handbuff decks, though it's easily an autoinclude in any handbuff deck.
