Daily reminder: it's not the amount of money you get that makes you rich or poor, but it's source.
If you're a renting an apartment for $1000 a month and have another one to live in, you are basically free.
If you are a wagecuck, no matter how much you earn, you're a sucker until you get to the point of passive income.
As I live in Moscow, have known many people from both sides, guess which part looks like hamsters in wheels, scared of everything and obsessed with MAH CRYSIS problems, and which doesn't give a fuck and enjoys.
Jordan Clark
P.S. And if you are a regular wagecuck, it will take you decades of wageslavery to get to passive income.
Ayden Wright
lmao is your economy that bad in russia that making 4 - 8 million will take "decades"
Robert Edwards
> owns 2 apartments
And how much will it cost me in Putinland?
Zachary Flores
Oh look who inherited a flat from grammar and copes thinking he is a big boy
Isaiah Myers
Moscow used to be "expensive", now I don't know. Well honestly all rich Russians are trying to escape to Europe anyway. Even to shit places like Latvia and Lithuania.
Chase Rivera
Grandma* fucking autocorrect
Jason Jenkins
how hard is being a landlord?
Jordan Russell
Russia looks like Romania.
Zachary Gray
depends on many things..
Camden James
I'll inherit few houses, i want them to be my major source of income, how hard is being a landlord? How many hours per week i have to attend to the care? Is there any good books regarding this subject that you might reccomend?
Justin Stewart
Karl Marx thought it before you man. All these wageslaves think theyre the business but they are just being bought off by the bourgeoisie who offer them shit mortgages that are only paid off when they are 60 and spending power to compensate for their boring admin jobs. After the bullshit that was the USSR there is no incentive whatsoever now to keep the hamsterwheel spinning, hence lower wages, cuts on social services, etc. They only bailed us savers out in 2008 because they knew the collapse of the banking cartel would lead to a collapse of the market.
>muh trump will fix it.
Hahaha
Ian Phillips
You sound poor.
Are you poor?
Jace Campbell
Hehe passive agressiveness, love it!
Eli Ward
Yes.
Jaxson Russell
Why is it that only poor people complain about "the system"?
Seems like only losers ever complain
Elijah Hughes
If I was rich you would call me a champagne socialist.
Josiah Price
i don't understand what your complaint is.
It's the best time to live in the US, ever. What's your issue? That you have to work? Sorry there's nothing free in life
Jose Young
if you are as lazy as you sound, just get some agency to do it
Blake Howard
Like that other guy said - it really depends on a lot of factors. Once it's all set-up properly and nothing out of the ordinary happens it's less than an hour per month for each unit to check on the payments and do the accounting.
But there's always something out of the ordinary. Shit breaks, people move in and out, people complain, the police complains, the city complains, taxes have to be filed, etc. Expect at least one problem per unit every two months which may take hours or days to resolve each time. Still not too bad, honestly, but pretty demanding since for some reason it's always some new and outlandish shit, never the same problem twice.
Familiarizing yourself with proper book keeping, invoice writing, tax codes, building codes, etc took me dozens of days across several months. If you've never done shit like this before it's quite a bit of work to wrap your head around everything. I strongly advise you to step in now while the current owner is still alive. It's much easier to learn when you're not on your own and have to re-invent the wheel on everyting.
Remodelling and renovating really suck though. Even with a general contractor you have to be there several time a week and supervise. Contractors suck and try to cut every corner imaginable. Plus all the additional red tape and complaints... It's honestly approaching a half-time job some weeks even for a single unit.
Like said, money can solve pretty much everything though. Rental agencies, building managers, architects, accountants - they cut deeply into your profit though and may still neglect your building or not go for maximum profits. If you want truly passive income expect at least half of your profits going away.
Colton Bailey
is russian wageslavery wageSLAVery x-D
Colton Scott
What's the issue? People have always cared about relative gains instead of absolute ones man. You think those fucking spergs with MAGA hats aren't rich?
Brody Perry
>As I live in Moscow >guess which part looks like hamsters in wheels
99% of russians i guess
Daniel Sanders
THIS
Brandon Watson
Yeah kinda.
But if you have a job making $250k a year, and it sucks, but you save that money, then you can quit after one year and do whatever the fuck you want for a year or two.
Anthony Morales
Totally disagree, OP. You need to have a lot more than just one rental to be considered even financially stable, never mind rich.
The source really doesn't matter
Carter Thomas
>he fell for the trump meme
Ryder Mitchell
>But if you have a job making $250k a year You will not. And if you get raised that high it means you wagecucked for years to get there.
