I just bring out whatever tier II - IV premium plane I feel like using into air rb and do my best. There might be faster ways to gain SL, but fuck bending the way you play just to get maybe 10-20% more SL in the same amount of time.

That variant comes with no tail gunner, and bombload is pitful, 2 x 250 kg IIRC.
As for guns, Hs 129 is all around better, 30 mm kills tanks with AP, and AI tanks with minememes. And if somehow you still lack pen for GF battles, you can strap 37 mm that not only easily pens top of tanks, but sides as well.
Also guns on HS are center firing, while ones in IL spread a lot, if you're not within optimal range.
