It is an endgame goal and you're doing it too early. Distinctions have shit droprate and you need 20 of an specific one if you want a certain class.

To actually get them, you need to reach rank 101 and do HL battles for HL renown so you can buy one distinction a day in the renown shop.

if you have team based on spakming ougi like there is no end get alchem, unlock a little pick me up and then focus on warlock

That's for the better, just focus on your weapon pool and characters. Tier IV isn't until endgame so you have a ton of time to just do other stuff.

Around rank 80, you can start farming the stuff needed but not actually unlock it until rank 101 and even then, you'll have to wait 20 days and more to buy all distinctions needed.

And I don't know much about the Cosmos weapons to know which one I want to get yet!

So what Extra class is actually good to start out with? I know you'll want all of them eventually, but not that hot on CP at the moment. I mainly play light/dirt if that matters.
