I always see the /hg/ and the Veeky Forums generals, but is there any love for Mitsubishi?
I always see the /hg/ and the Veeky Forums generals, but is there any love for Mitsubishi?
Why would there be?
Mistu is trash
one of the worst car companies so probably not
Only if it's mostly about:
>Starion
>GTO
>90s EVO
because they don't exist anymore.
Something about the brands makes the Americucks sperg out. It can't have been that Mitsu neglected the States entirely since the DSMs were only ever LHD. Might've been Pearl Harbor, or no Evo up until VIII.
...
I like the Pajero's, most of the Evo's, some of the Galants where quite good little cars and stuff like the GTO was pretty spectacular for the time
Rest, not so much. Some of the Ralliart specials where interesting.
Eyy, I like flatties.
...
Because Mitsus come in two flavors - Cheap, slow, and bland, or expensive (base price or maintenance, sometimes both), quick, and fun.
Veeky Forums doesn't have the kind of income to afford the latter and there are much better options than mitsu for the former.
Veeky Forums is mostly a meme
/hg/ exists because hondas are cheap shitboxes.
>narrow body
NICE
>any love for Mitsubishi
I really like the 4th 6th and 8th gen Galant

Years ago in high school, friend bought one of those as his first car
>Doing 100km/h on a dirt road
>Lost it
>Hit a road cutting
Vaguely remember everything going around and around for a very long time, then somehow ending up on its roof in a paddock about 40m off the road and about 10m up on the side of a hill. He was all fucked up with a broken nose, busted ankle, fucked up wrist and cuts all over him... I stumbled out with a sore neck from not being exactly 'spatial' about being upside down and released the seatbelt, landed on my head. The devil looks after his own I guess.
A lot of those cars ended up that way, very rarely see them any more.
...
What?
Also I have a moonroof would be retarded to put a roof rack on?
...
So what? NL 4M40>NL 6G74
its bad enough in the short wheel base
meh fuel economy and overheats like a boss
hard to even find a decent photo of the wagon version
What are you talking about?
If you're talking about the 4M40, then the example you're referring to must have some severe issues.
In regards to early mechanical injected style diesels, the fuel economy from the 2 tonne SUV is pretty good, where mine averages a little over 10L/100km with mixed city/highway/offriad/towing.
Mine also has no problem holding normal temperature on a 40c ambient day is soft sand either...
>parallel import
>never again
>severe issues
yea something must have been fucked
it ran quite well for a while then the block warped and cracked
ditched it as had already spent too much on bs not related to the drive train
>fuel economy
for a while it was cheaper to run than a petrol car
then a tax got put on diesel registration
mine could not even handle 8+ hours of open road speed at 20c
good to hear yours is still fresh
Mine and many others are still fresh. While mine isn't the most travelled at 260,000km, there's no reason they aren't a half a million kilometre motor. They were developed for light commercial purposes after all.
Worth noting they weren't just developed for 2-3 tonne Fuso trucks, but also see duty in 7 and 8 tonne Caterpillar excavators. They really are quite a stout little diesel.
While I'm doubtful the block would've warped as opposed to the head (those alloy cylinder heads don't appreciate being overheated), if it was the case I'd say your cooling system was utterly in need of attention to allow it to get hot enough to do such damage.
there was one of those for sale recently. a bit too expensive though
Tfw I want an Eclipse GSX.
dont tease us you cunt, post pics
