Let's say I wanted to make a Warhammer mod for Bannerlord, how would you advise me to avoid making a complete mess like Warsword? Any ideas?

I've been thinking it might make sense to restrict it to the Empire and the regions immediately surrounding it, rather than trying to cover the entire Warhammer world.

Focus it on the Old World and Dark Lands.

Hasn't it been claimed that the modding tools are more capable for Bannerlord.

If so, I would expect a glut of projects to get going, 10% of which would genuinely good.

I think they automatically spawn in garrisons. You also might be able to capture them from lords, they usually have at least 1 in their armies.

Taleworlds killed Warband modding with their premature announcement of Bonerlord. Knowing that a sequel is in the making kills interest in the current game and everyone thought that the release would happen around 2013.

What does Dickplomacy realistic troop wounding system do?

Wounds can be lethal, so even if your troops are wounded in battle they might not survive and count as casualties

Yeah that's usually how developers do things. Announce in one year, release in the next. in 2014 everybody thought it would release in 2014, in 2015 you get the idea.

My point is, the modding community waited for Bannerlord because there is no reason to start a project if said project is rendered obsolete when the new game comes out. If only we knew that we still would be waiting in 2017
