If, hypothetically, another marathon were to happen, I'd say coinciding it with Mania's release actually wouldn't be the most opportune timing. If you REALLY wanted to set up some hype, you'd start stoking the fires in late summer, after people have chewed through Mania and still anxious for more. Then kick off the dump proper, maybe starting in early September.
Starting the dump at 6pm EST and going through 8-10 issues a night Mon-Fri seemed to strike a nice balance of user availability and posting pace. Assuming the OP had done his homework beforehand and could stay dedicated to a schedule to finish in December, he could not only ride the hype for Project 2017 but ALSO cap the marathon with the milestone #300 issue. Given how climactic Senpai has promised the issue would be, I can't think of any better way to bring the Ride to a close.
Just buy the Steam version. It's worth it for the aspect ratio and the way they mixed the music so it loops properly. You can choose the US or JP OST and play as Tails.

This is some of the most effective nightmare fuel I ever came across.
Some hot girls, some funny ones, lots of boring plot.
It's on life support, only thing worth looking forward is the Genesis thing.
Considering how rocky it's been, I'm enjoying it.
It's nothing amazing but it makes for a fun read.
The accompanying Sonic Megadrive is a lot better by comparison imo, though it's coming out pretty sparsely.

As someone who isn't that big on comics and didn't start reading until SWC was almost over in October, I really liked it. The characters' dialogue was fun to read, there was good action all around (save for the really lame final battle against Dark Gaia), and most of the donut steels were interesting and fit well in the universe. Plus it was nice to see someone try to consolidate various elements of the games into a consistent universe and tone.
