I really dislike the way they move. It's not like they're stiff or anything, it just feels like the animators stopped when the animation was "good enough", instead of putting in the extra effort to make it look really fluid and natural. It's 80% of the way to good animation.

I'm rewatching it and I think the issue is there's no sense of weight to their movements.

The release of Gen also was packed, though? It's been months since it's been out, it's expected to be dead.

MH4U is the best entry point if you have a 3DS already.

Though not confirmed for the west, Generations is set to get a re-release later on and the game has really shitty pacing.

felt as real as you could get for a 3ds game

gen is a lot more vivid and colorful than 4U
