Neptune for tanking and possibly off-healing if they really make her go full Paladin. Ram for ranged DPS and depending on how Ninja-like they make her, dodge tanking or status effects. Rom for DPS and off-tanking. Blanc for heals and buffs.

Depends on the game really. In Disgaea and Etrian Odyssey they're usually light armor classes with higher agility to compensate. Basically designed to dodge the majority of hits but still have enough armor and HP to take one or two. They're less fragile than a mage or thief but have nowhere near the durability of a heavy armor class.

Not really. It just intends that you've played one of the others, it doesn't spoil much of anything from the other routes more than the hints that exist in all 4 do.
