How does prestige work in this? Should I even bother to spend credits on unlocking equipment early or should I hoard it until prestige for maximum effect.

can anyone confirm with actual numbers? i have not got to play yet, but ive watched a few streams and tone's core didnt seem to obliterate titans in 1 go. just got them to doomed or close. might have been other things i didnt notice though, some of the missles might have missed, a shield or something etc

Basically spend your first gen getting used to equipment and finding the builds you like. When you regen or prestige just spend credits to get to your build ASAP.

Prestige resets your progress towards unlocking stuff, but doesn't reset your progress with that stuff. Buying it with credits just makes it so you don't get it taken away the next time you prestige.

There's really no reason not to prestige, because it's pretty cheap to just buy and now you have it forever.

Gravity Star is nice utility (+ if you're pro you can use it as a movement tool)

Satchels are very strong against titans and pilots, but are hard to use

Frags are lame

I love gravity star but I don't know about the movement thing. Can you explain.

Pro players can use the gravity star's explosion to gain tremendous amounts of speed if they time it right. I've never been able to pull it off so I can't give any more specifics as to how it works.
