Turns out if you have maxed out movement speed and an ability that hits screen lenght and melts leather mobs even in R8 maps, questing in Inner 8 and 9 is a piece of piss provided you bring a fuckload of potions and sponsored Rhevisan set. I have a Pyro C2, Linker C1/Thauma C1 Alchemist build.

It's terrible. Absolutely terrible. No one will want you to link anything. You will have to get a Dendel gem to even be viable. It's a great spec to farm Uosis with, provided no one else is camping the map but outside that place it's bad.

Go Wiz 3 > Linker 2. It's more futureproof and you can even solo maps no problem.

The interaction with magic missle and linking mobs is by far better than Lvl10 fireballs, pillar and ground. Like I said, I have a Pyro C2. The spells deal next to no damage and you won't be playing an alchemist for damage anyway.

Your only hope for C2 Hunter in PvE would be Fletcher3 Mergen, and praying for Coursing/Pointing rework.

Go hunter3 for growling. Falconer pairs nicely with musket, scout is a more pvp choice but offers nice utility.

What's the consensus about saving exp cards nowadays?

Worth doing sometimes, but mostly just feel free to use them when you want to.

Still do it if you can.

Spawn rates seem higher and getting exp in general seems easier than the first time round thanks to better exp tomes, instance clear vouchers and just more quests. No point in using every exp card you get just because you have them though.
I know you basically don't need to stop and grind now until Alemeth. Just use cards to keep in level range until then.

If you really want Musket, then I'd say Hunter3 Falcon is a good pick.
There just isn't anything else that you could go with, maybe Rogue instead of Falcon, but that's about it.

I have a cannon2, cannon2 is the same as cannon1 Cannon Blast whenever is out CD, but now you have Smoke Screen to boost you damage a little.

Cannonade is alright, not like Cannoneer has any other good skills.
Bazooka is horrible
There is attributes to Siege Burst to remove magic circles/field spells, kinda like Counter Spell, but way weaker.

It's a weak class overall in pve, but I like it. Has some 1 shotting potential on pvp with cannon blast 10, but I don't really play that.
