If you don't kill most raid bosses in less than 4'59'' there is a dps problem in your raid, probably too much mages.

Make a 5 man party and go kill level 5-6 mobs from the get go.
There will be few to none people doing that, and you level up quickly enough.
Also its basically the full dungeon experience instead of the boring wolf dueling.

I got that five minute number out of my ass, I have no idea how long fights last.
I do however know for a fact that paladins and druids run out of mana if they are trying to do anything other than heal, and when they do run out of mana their effectiveness drops considerably.
