I've always wondered if there was a follow up post.

hey, that's no clutch

...

You don't say

>rear u-joint angle of rest

good luck with keeping those changed out mate

...

Wouldn't driving with tires like this make the car shake like crazy at higher speeds?

isn't that a exhaust for emission testing machines ?

Stancers, defend yourselves

Probably wouldn't be as noticeable as you think if it was in the back

...

Not here in Germany, no.

This is not normal rice,
this is a comlete new level of rice.

"Can you put some firegum on it?"

"Ah you know, the fan motor went out and I couldn't be arsed to change it."

audio fag here. my sphincter contracted hard

Wouldn't this deflate it..?

"It was cheaper than oem."

This car hasn't been to inspection since 2003 but the owner still drives it.

WTF even causes this?

Dude.. What ?

A bit overdue maintenance

Nigga that's a Genyouine STD

Mfw all these pics

Forgetting to apply tire fluid

My bottom end :D

...

Here's the fresh oil that I put in about a week before I tried to start it, keep in mind this oil has never been run through the motor. Just in and out.

Thats just what happens when a teenager goes mudding everyday and lives right on the east coast.

How do you even

How does that even happen?
shouldn´t be oil on the surface of the crankshaft?

This is still my favorite pic for these threads.

I think this was to get it up on a truck to go to scrap, they didn't lift it that way to work on it. Or maybe that was another similar picture.

>redneck ice tire

...

I live on the east coast, you need more than just living here for that shit to happen.

...

Anyone remembers this thread?

Do not watch if you're faint hearted

There was a small part of me that went "Hm, I should go try that with my mothers XV"

How and why?

What truck is this?

like lots of salt

So the engine is a 4AGE that was supposed to go into my Corolla, I bought the engine off of a guy who turned out to be a friend of a friend. My friend told me that he's pretty sure that this motor was the one that sat in his driveway unprotected for years. The guy knew it needed a full rebuild when he sold it to me but never told me, I was an idiot trusted the dude when he said it was good and got fucked (only saving grace is that where I live 4AGEs are dirt cheap). Pretty much water leaked in and just sat there. It's even worse in person I just don't have pictures, the head is completely fucked, the TVIS butterfly valve plate is rusted so bad it's siezed.

Didn't he put a fucking chicken tendie in there, too?

What is the gore here, I don't know shit about cylinder heads

Make sure to record it if you do

Those are floor mats for mud guards.

>Didn't he put a fucking chicken tendie in there, too?

please make it stop. why is he doing this. why user

lazy people use zip ties for damned near everything
>tfw they're holding up ~1/2 of my body panels

Did the car not have a hood when sitting for years? I wouldn't have touched that with a 10 foot pole

Because Mexican tuning

The guy dremeled those little cuts as a "signature" tuning method

This intake is from the same build.

the difference is that when one of your zip ties break it won't start a fire.

Just the engine sat for years, the car was running and driving when I got it.

>why is he doing this. why user

I wish I knew

Wouldn't that BTFO your head gaskets??

Still a better idea than cutting springs, or using cheap eBay springs. At least the ride quality, and handling will be almost identical to factory.

not even my chebby is that bad and it hasn't been washed in 12 years.

I don´t get the point of this shit.
Why would anyone increase the inner surface of a cylinder head?

How is this bad?

Soak everything in molasses for 2 weeks

The gears are welded together.

Eventually, yes. I think it ran okay when it was finished.

The entire car is confusing

My first thought was something was making the rim excessively hot. I wonder if the tire looks like that on the interior side.

What the fuck is that blue stuff?

I tried soaking it in diesel which is an old farm trick my gramps used to use all the time and it didn't work, the pistons are rusted to the cylinder wall. Luckily I have great friends and they gave me some spare motors they had laying around that are in various states of disrepair. I should have enough parts here to make 1 good engine out of the 3 I got.

That would be the car lift

What Am I looking at ?
