There wasnt as much banter as in the original top gear. They tried it, but it felt like they force it to resemble the old show.
What bothered me the most though: Its called the grand tour but it doesnt really involve the country they are currently filming in. I tought they would go against each other in merc and porsches in the alps or something but all we got were short movies all made in england, involing land rovers, honda and what not. Maybe i just expected something different. Hopefully the shows in other countries were a bit better. The christmas special could be fun.
