Because it unnecessarily divides up the community and because in this age of instant entitlement, people would rather use chat rooms to get instant responses rather than post messages. It then kills the latter community. I mean /nintyg/ has become a refugee camp for generals that can only survive because of the community since there is not enough activity, or it was split because of third party sites. Just look at /wug/, /smm/, /mk8g/, /lozg and /ink/.

There should also be an unofficial rule that if you post other people's work, you say who it is.

I tend to be torn on sending a message that just goes 'This looks great'! Just because from that moment onward, any time you look at the image, your message will follow it and you can't delete it, so you can't just send it and remove it.
