The Mazdaspeed 6 has a really simple, clean interior. The seats are pretty high up too, and the leather is plush. Its the best touring car I've driven, and I pushed 12 hours in a single drive out of it before.

My scores are purely based on driver interaction and look. Not on materials and feel. I have calloused hands, I don't car if it's cheap vinyl or leather.

Gauges have good placement imo. You can see all the dials through or to the right of the wheel with nothing blocked off. Turbo cars got a boost guage instead of a voltmeter, but there's a voltage light, so I guess that makes up for it. Also a coolant light for when your headgasket inevitably.blows.

The interior of the Mitsubishi GTO (3000GT) has got to be one of the comfiest interiors. Nothing you touch feels cheap, everything is sturdy.

I have Corbeau seats that look like the stock ones, but are actually lighter. They are still got tier comfy.

Also appreciate the compliment and yes, there's barely any around, there are some over in germany but since it's germany those have been ridden into the ground. Mine is in mint condition with only 73k miles, no accidents, no dents, no rust or scratches.

I have a 9-3 2003 but as much as I love driving it, they are pieces of shit for maintenance. And I'm the guy with a Passat B3.

pretty sure that's actually the worst year for the 9-3. The first year where they changed the body style and switched to fiber optic wiring. Lots of things seem to go wrong with that model year in particular.

Personally, I've had no problems with my 2004 9-5 Aero.
