Some part of me hopes that this episode will have a permanent affect on Sonic and Tails in future episodes, like the amplifier literally enhanced their natural speed to that degree. But I kind of doubt they'd do that...

You remind me of one of those Sonic artists I see on Deviantart and think, "this dude must be like 12" and normally I'm right until around 3-6 years later when they start drawing really amazing and detailed Sonic art. Hope you're still a fan by then cause I love being proven wrong with stuff like this.
