Is it possible to stay Christian and win as the wrc? Tips on how to manage that?

You can stay Christian and win. It'll mean suffering some PO problems, though, since you'll want to keep churches at a lower level, meaning less religious influence in areas that need it, like any area with a wonder that gives a lot of Roman Pagan influence. You'll also want walls basically everywhere and fight defensively against the Huns. They'll run out of arrows eventually.

CA have shown that they have been listening to some complaints, especially around DLC, so that might happen, but I can't see it being higher priority than other things they have to put in for the next game. They would have to redo most of the siege maps, at least, unless they left the lower tier towns as one wall sieges and then made new ones for the capitals and high level cities only. They would have to change their AI again to accomodate those changes, too.

No I understand like, I get the feeling their main goal is just to make sure they can get every faction in the games first.

I think the one wall approach isn't bad they just need to expand the play area more so there's a higher chance of getting to fight beyond the walls. Even if they just reused the features from Attila like fire and the extra defenses that would be great.

It's the one thing that worries me a bit with Warhammer is they have a good base down right now and thats fine. I just want to see them keep pushing it and adding to it and not just leaving things as they currently are.

But you're right though they have been actually taking feed back and putting it to use so that gives me hope they'll try to address some of the bigger issues with the expansions/newer games.

There are some Storm of Chaos units they could add. Tuetgen Guard and Knights Panther come to mind as obvious choices.

I'm not sure why I said Vladdy instead of Manny. Maybe because they're both bad compared to the true Emperor, Sigmar.

Settra seems like an alright guy, Are the Tomb Kings "evil" i.e. chaos/Skaven tier bullshit or just they want to get back what was stolen from there.

Also who are their gods?

Best I've ever done on legendary.
Started out with him gathering on a huge hill with woods. I kept harassing him to draw out his light cavs one by one and killed em all. Then I moved on to my main attack, cornering him on his edge of the map.
I didn't realize what I was doing at first, but I ended up confusing the shit out of the AI by having 4 of my matchlocks constantly rehiding in woodlands with most of my forces as he kept trying to reorganize his massive lines. I had both generals, an ashigaru, and a matchlock on the other side of him on a hill with woods. I basically had him cornered on a thickly wooded hilltop and he had so many troops that he had to keep reorganizing his line.
If I were defending he would've just full frontal attacked me and I may have ended up losing. I was able to widdle away at his troops over the course of an hour.

Tomb Kings are basically a neutral faction, similar to wood elves in that they just want people to get off their damn lawn, and take back the shit people have stolen from them.
Settra is a bit of an asshole but he's a very competent asshole.

Another part I forgot to include is that I had to switch out my matchlocks because of ammo. Had it been a human player it definitely wouldn't have gone down that way.

I wonder what would their racial gimmick be. Maybe something that would make your own lords turn on you on some conditions, since they are known to have no morals and just backstab eachother at any given opportunity.

That's the point why I like them, they are literal rats, they don't give a fuck, LITERALLY only thing they care about is to be more powerful than the others, that's their ultimate goal.
With Orks, you can see that they too want to be powerful, but they have other goals too, they want to be famous through their actions and be respected or just have fun. It's usually like a game for them. Then we have points like Gobbla getting gutted which made Skarsnik get depressed and drop his Waaagh! to go and cry and scheme into his pillow.
But nah, Skaven are just utter bags of dicks, they can't do anything together because they are too busy backstabbing eachother. They make up their incompetence with sheer numbers and some kuhrayzee inventions.
The only reason why they became so dangerous during End Times was because their literal god descended from heavens and told them to stop acting like assholes to eachothers for the first time in history and start being assholes to everyone else.

How many Skavens would there be in a unit? 120? 200? Would be awesome (and bad for the GPU) if they were a fuck ton of them but were cheap and died rapidly

Bittersweet end turn

Probably fuckhuge amount in fodder units and sensible amount for some more specialized units like warplock pistol wielding cowboys. I'd love to roll around with units of doomwheels just racing around the battlefield.

Seeing as Goblins only get 160 at max, I think Skaven Slaves which are literally the trashiest units available should at least be 200 or more.

And eventually when you get to Stormvermin who are the top tier infantry, it should still be quite high maybe around 120? And depending on how they implement the Clan system for Skaven, let's say you allign yourself with Clan Mors then you get more Stormvermin in your units because they specialise in breeding Stormvermin.

Because we are playing on glorious achievement mode, I have hit turn 1225 and accomplished one of the glorious achievements which was to keep all of my homeland provinces.

Anyone remember that PBEM campaign we tried to do last year and failed? It was supposed to be the ERE in SS6.4 but it kinda died off because of the delay between players and postings. I'd like to bring it back if there's any interest.

Pretty sure he can put out/support as many units from one city as most factions can from their whole kingdom.

Also forgot to mention I found the save files for it and the plan is to play until the emperor's death then pass it on to another player.

Started playing Rome 2 again after nothing but warhammer for last 6 months.

I am really enjoying the smaller scale battles, not having 20men+ battles every time is really refreshing.

It is a lot slower to, its nice to be able to maneuver your javelins to the flank before the infantry fight is already over.

Wazzock I need a magic mod that makes magic good I am tired of burning skulls and vortexes that do nothing.

Why don't Undeads have any human units? The game makes them look like some sort of evil pseudo-Chaos, but aren't they just some okay guys that everyone else just considers evil, because they are not pussies and dabble in forbidden magic? Some people happily live there.
I'm not saying that the Undeads need any more units for their roster, only that it's odd.

They do not have any human units, the vampires are necromancers and have control of undead automatons that work like puppets.

Humans live in slyvannia but they are fed on like cattle.

Yeah i don't know what it is about warhammer but the whole thing moves way too fast.

Your lines get engages and by the time you can whirl your cav around for some charges everyones nearly dead already.

I really hope they'll try to done ti down a little as time goes one.

Its a fun game, but it could be a little slower everything is over very fast.

In Rome and Attila you have a big skirmish before you even engage in melee, and city battles can last over half an hour with you pulling troops all over the map setting up choke points and killing floors.

Warhammer is a little more rush focused, i am hoping WE change that up a bit.

Mostly because the rule books focused on the undead side of things. On the table top if you wanted to you could always do up some Bretonnian men at arms to look like some Sylvanian peasants and proxy them for Skellies or something. That kind of thing just never got a rule book entry though.
