literally what

Obsessed, butthurt yuropoor thinks driving manual is some arduous, elite skill and because Americans don't bother to do so, that means they're somehow incapable.
t. burger who drives manual
it just feels better, and it's fun. what do you do in the car while driving automatic?
i don't perceive it as an elite skill, the people in the article obviously do.
automatic is better who cares
this is coming from someone whos been driving manual for close to 7 years
>Georgia Vassilakis
>Hector Hernandez
>Americans are retarded
Kek.
Learned it when I bought my first car, my dad drove it home and I spent 3ish days brapping around the neighborhood. Only other person I've seen driving a manual though was a qt uber driver in a mazda 3, didn't even know that it was a manual through the whole drive until I saw the stick upon leaving
>what do you do in the car while driving automatic?
Drive. It's really pretty boring but you get used to it.
>It’s really difficult
Meanwhile in Europe you get the "retards and cripples" license if you can't drive stick.
>ANYONE CAN COME TO AMERICA AND BECOME AMERICAN TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM
>THESE MORONS AREN'T AMERICANS, ONLY MY HANDPICKED WELL EARNING CAUCASIAN SAMPLE GROUP COUNTS AS AMERICAN
desu automatic transmissions and wide roads with no roundabouts sounds much simpler
You could almost say retard proof.
>having to shift
It's this the 60's? I mean, a few years ago you sluts had valid arguments. Now autos are
>More efficient
>Shift faster than humanly possible
>Have more gears
Saying manual is better is simply wrong now. Factually incorrect. Get over it.
but it feels good, like you're directly connected to the motor.
Yeah but you'll have to buy a new car to get a decent autotragic, and then you'll be stuck with a new car.
Also empirically inferior things can still be fun, as is showcased every time Veeky Forums defends combustion engines against electric motors.
Most old timers in the states know how to drive stick but the new generation of autotragic faggots is horrendous. Maybe if they used a hand to shift instead of eat fries and browse twitter there would be a few less accidents
How much more difficult is it to learn stick if I already know how to ride a bike? Any major differences?
Does this mean I could move to the US and immediately get a job as a manual instructor?
Foot for clutch and hand to shift
>more efficient
just ask the hypermilers about it and they will tell you it isn´t
>fast shifts
The shifting itself might be fast, but I can shift manualy BEFORE a automatic coud even react to the throttle position.
>more gears
Not on most cars.
Or the retarded girls who fuck around on their phones will do so anyway and cause more accidents. Manuals don't fix stupid
retards like OP thinks it's special because he's just salty and wants to cry about Americans. I mean he even had to resort to whatever the fuck latimes is
Different muscle memory.
Biggest difference though is the dry clutch. You can't let it slip heaps like you can on a bike. If you ride the clutch like you would on a bike, you'll cook it.
You'd have maybe one student every six months. Half of them would be in their 30s. Half of them would not know how to drive at all.
maybe because the only thing you drove was a 0.9l tubodiessel fiat
i did this.
not hard. as other anons have said just got to remember you shouldn't ride the clutch for ages like you can on a bike. you don't have to drop it instantly or anything, just don't ride it.
>Héctor Hernández
Weird. Most latinamericans can drive manual because an autotragic version of any given new econobox tends to be like 20K or 30K pesos more expensive.
Guess claps put strogen in their burgers.
I paid 1.5k US dollars for the upgrade to automatic on my camaro
Driving in the US is boring as fuck. IDGAF about having a manual to sit in traffic on a hill.
Not hard to learn a manual though because that used to be the only option and, holy fuck, people still drove.
>Paid for automatic in a Camaro
But why?
>buy new car
>6 speed manual
>don't know how to drive it
>get mom to drive it home for me
>parents say: i ain't gunna teach you that shit you just blew $20k
>teach myself
>everyone who rides in my car: wow your car doesn't jerk when you shift etc. who taught you
>tell them i taught myself
>they start freaking out like im stick shit heyzeus or something.
It's not even that hard, once i got it in first the rest was easy as shit.
Not an elite skill by any means but it is so goddamn much more fun than an automatic.
I wonder if he posted Ferguson as a piss take or what
Oh fucking hell it's this all over fucking Veeky Forums I met a qt3.14 and we had a great time and at the end of the night I saw her stick and that just made me want her more
>guaranteed replies
In the US.
Mexico and other southern markets get barebones versions compared to the US and to higher prices.
Airbags, ABS and other safety features were only included in top trims until recently and only because that shit will be literally illegal by 2018.
No where in the Constitution does it say anyone can come to America and become American shithead
