Catholicism is a practical joke that has gone on far too long.

Because ayyy lmao

...

Catholicism is the way ancient Romans used to adapt the egalitarian and salvatic concepts of Christianity into their religion in order to further spread their culture. And there's nothing wrong with that.

What does this mean? What's going on here?

>And there's nothing wrong with that.
The catholic church is acting direcly against the teachings of Jesus Christ, and if it wasnt for Martin Luther the catholic church would still be taxing you for redemption

Protestantism is more of a pure Christianity, focusing on the idealist way of Christ.Grace doesn't come from wine and crackers.

We need a new Spanish Inquisition.

>idealistic way of Christ
>here are 2000 denominations, half of which are essentially pyramid schemes

Protestantism is theologically retarded.

The only true "church" is the kingdom of God, which includes all those who accept Jesus,

If you reject, change or overrule any of the word of God then you're out.

Therefore anyone who believes in the teachings and practices of the Roman Catholic Church(many of which are anti-biblical), then you're not a member of the true church of God, no matter how vehemently you may claim to be.

Remember, it's God's church,Not mans.

He makes the rules.

>muh anti-biblical
I'll just keep these keys to the kingdom of heaven under the doormat when you're ready to join us.

>The catholic church is acting direcly against the teachings of a looney acting against the empire's best interests
As I said, nothing wrong with it

female-lesbian-lutheran-bishop-of-stockholm-bans-crosses-from-churches-so-as-not-to-offend-muslims.pdf

I'm not a Catholic, I'm Orthodox. Protestantism is still retarded theologically though. I understand Vatican was corrupt as fuck but Luther wanted to be Jesus 2.0

the Roman church strayed from the truth faith and Luther saw how corrupt it had begun. He wanted to turn the church back to where the focus should have been...on Christ Jesus, but he was excommunicated.

>Luther wanted to be Jesus 2.0

No he didn't. Luther wanted to reform the Church from within, he even initially said something along the lines of "If Holy Father knew what Tetzel is doing, he would be outraged." Then when he brought up his complaints about Church corruption he got hammered with excommunication and basically a death sentence so he had no other option but to found his own Church.

Catholics are 100% to blame for the rise of Protestantism.

Protestantism = modern version of ancient heretical gnostic sects except it's much more cancerous

protestanterrors.com/

>Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
Matthew 7:15-20

>b-but le pope washed feet!

>Protestants = Gnostics

You either have no clue who the Gnostics were or you have no clue about Protestantism. Very likely both.

>anti-biblical

You either have the worst reading comprehension or you are an extremely stupid person. Very likely both.

If people misunderstand your drivel the problem is very likely on your side and not on theirs.

>So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit
Wouldn't this criticism apply equally to Catholicism? Catholics maintain that the historical sins of the church don't count because it's a human institution and apparantly the divine institution half has no ability to police it, but by the logic here in scripture if the Catholic tree was "healthy" then it couldn't bear the bad fruit of those sins. Hell, from a Catholic perspective, Martin Luther and Protestantism in general are bad fruit born from the tree of Catholicism.

>"This Church is holy, the one Church, the true Church, the Catholic Church, fighting as she does against all heresies. She can fight, but she cannot be beaten. All heresies are expelled from her, like the useless loppings pruned from a vine. She remains fixed in her root, in her vine, in her love. The gates of hell shall not conquer her."
St. Augustine, Sermon to Catechumens, on the Creed, 6,14, AD 395

>But, even the Church itself by itself, because of its marvelous propagation, its exceptional holiness, and inexhaustible fruitfulness in all good works; because of its catholic unity and invincible stability, is a very great and perpetual motive of credibility, and an incontestable witness of its own divine mission.
Vatican I, Session 3, Chapter 3, AD 1870

>like the useless loppings pruned from a vine.
The vine shouldn't need to be cut, since theoretically it can't produce bad fruit in the first place because it is healthy.

heretics are mad, because they will burn in hell

Matt. 7:15-20 speaks of individuals.

>JP2
>kissing Quaram

2nd Vatican Council was the greatest tragedy in Church's history. I'm really starting to believe that we really are living during the final Week from Dan's prophecy.

Was Peter not an individual?

Yup. Never pope, never bishop of Rome, just one of the apostles.

And not even the greatest one of them.

It will go on until the pope is cast into the lake of fire with the antichrist.

Anti-Catholicism is truly demonic.

Catholicism is demonic. All Marian apparitions are demonic. The magic rites and rituals of the catholic church are demonic. There are cardinals in the Vatican who openly worship satan.

>I don't know anything about Church history: The post

Debunking the heresy always begins with debunking the myth of the Bible as some sort of a magical book that shown up out of nowhere in the Middle East in 33 AC, all in its KJV, 66-books form.

>there are cardinals in the vatican who openly worship satan.

Got any source that isn't pulled straight from your ass?

>All Marian apparitions are demonic
5 prayers of Fatima:

The Pardon Prayer:
"My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee."

The Angel's Prayer:
"Most Holy Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit- I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners."

The Eucharistic Prayer:
"Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament."

The Sacrifice Prayer:
"Oh my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary."

The Decade Prayer:
"Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy."

Chick Tracts say so, duh.

Here's a great protestant """""""""news""""""""" article:

Some Catholics believe in a holy Jesus, but their faith is made impotent by the rest of what they have to believe- which is sacrilege.

>rest of what they have to believe
?

You can't be Catholic and not believe in a holy Jesus.

>Jesus says that a kingdom divided is doomed to fail
>protestants divided hundreds of times
>Protestants now either brain dead fundamentalists or atheists who like Christian holidays

Way to ruin everything protties

You're gonna need a bigger bait.

>Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway were historically Protestant countries
>Today they are some of the most atheistic countries in the world

How come?

>According to Pew Research Center survey in 2012 religiously unaffiliated (include agnostic and atheist) make up about 18.2% of Europeans population. According to the same survey religiously unaffiliated make up a majority of the population only in two European countries: Czech Republic (75%) and Estonia (60%).

Both were catholic

Lel 30 secs ago before you posted this I typed the following comment and when I was done decided not to post it:

Funny how the most atheist countries have either been the victims of forms of communism or forms of protestantism.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czechoslovak_Socialist_Republic
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonian_Soviet_Socialist_Republic

Once again:
>Funny how the most atheist countries have either been the victims of forms of communism or forms of protestantism.

catholics only arguement is "le heresy, we r crusaders :DD"

I guess it makes sense since most catholics here converted from crusader meme pics they saw on /pol/

>le heresy
When it's the case, yes.
>we r crusaders :DD
/pol/tard roleplayers =/= Catholic

Except that these two got under communist rule. The ones I mentioned didn't.

>Czech Republic
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohemian_Reformation

>The Czechs were solidly Catholic until after World War I, when anti-Catholicism fed by nationalist anti-German sentiment caused mass defections from the Church.[1] The reconstituted Protestant Hussite Church and the Czech Brethren were major beneficiaries of this defection from Catholicism

Another historically Catholic country which could've been atheist today is Portugal:

As for France which was historically Catholic:
