Do it yourself; clean underside completely, grind down and touch up the eventual small spots of rust there are, then cover it completely in whatever proofing you wanna use; old engine oil, tectyl, owatrol, bedliner

Undersides with more rust on it might need a proper sandblasting & a round of Hammerite before proofing

I'd understand your pain if it was one of the actually rare models, but a regular Carrera isn't that special. A rustproofed manuél C4S seems like something that'd be incredibly amusing in the winter and I'd totally do that if I had the money.

As for rare winter cars, there's a guy around these parts who regularly takes his Aventador out for a spin even during the winter. He just slaps some winter tires on and dailies it like any generic shitbox.

Euro cars actually often have decent steel quality (unlike Japanese 90s cars), I guess because there is actually snow in Alps.
Eventually, it will become unviable to own a gasoline car, why not enjoy it properly? Cars are meant to be driven.
Personally, I don't tenderly love German cars so I wouldn't feel too bad about rusting a Porsche, I would never want to rust something like FD or TT Supra though.

Apparently she'd just looked away for a second, right front tire went into the ditch and the rest just followed with. Surface hasn't been too great lately, tons of slush, rain and a little bit of frozen ice beneath it at times

This is the reason why a lot of tires aren't sold up here during the winter even tho they have all the "needed" markings for a winter tire - they simply don't match up to other tires that may have the same markings, but are constructed for the conditions we have

Well they don't seem to have much in the way of sipes and they're Chinese crap anyway. They managed to survive driving around all summer so they're clearly not that soft. Most people here don't even bother with winter tyres though, they just roll all-seasons through the slight dusting of snow we get for a day or two. Cheers for the advice though, I'll treat them like all-seasons just to be on the safe side.
